That is all we have for today. Bangladesh did improve from the first game, but it wasn't enough to stop this power-packed New Zealand line up who continue to dominate at home. Tom Latham and Devon Conway did what Kane Willamson and Ross Taylor would have done and that says a lot about the depth of their team. The visitors need to come back strong and will hope to get a consolation win in the final game. Do remember to join us on Friday for that. It will be a day game in Wellington starting at 11:00 local.. Until next time, it's a goodbye from Raju Peethala, Abhinand Raghavendran, Akshay Maanay and our scorer, Naga. Cheers!!

Tom Latham | Winning captain: We talk about guys standing up in different situations and I thought the bowlers did a great job. Santner was really good in the middle overs. At the half-way mark, we were pretty happy. We didn't quite get to the good start with the bat, but we did well to not lose too many wickets. The surface was a little tricky, but nice to get over the line and build some partnerships out in the middle. He (Conway) has done well domestically in the last couple of years and brought that form to international cricket, very happy for him. Nice to win the series and our focus will be on Wellington for the next game.

Tamim Iqbal: We should have won this game. Bowlers created chances, we couldn't hold on. In these kind of situations, we hardly win games. When the situation comes, we have to make sure that we do all the things 100%. Disappointed today, the batters batted really well. It was a bit slow. I thought 271 was a decent total. The bowlers started well, we got early wickets. When the chances came, we couldn't hold on. Mithun batted fantastically well and then Mushi was batting well too. It was a much improved game, we are not here to improve, we are here to win. We had our chances today. It's a game of cricket, you do drop catches, but it really hurts. No complains, people don't miss catches willingly. It happens to everyone. Whenever the opportunity comes, we need to grab with both hands. We need to be positive. We have to put up a better show.

Tom Latham | Player of the Match: It is nice to have a match winning contribution. At the halfway mark I thought we did a really good job with the ball as we knew Bangladesh would come out fighting, they also had a few early wickets but for us it was about building partnerships and I managed to do that with Devon. Nice to finish it a couple of overs early. They (the spinners) did grip a little bit which made it a little difficult, they were always in the game and we had to take our time. Devon played another nice innings and got those partnerships in the middle. The bowlers are always adjusting according to the surface and keep small targets. Looking forward to Wellington and putting on another good performance.

21:38 local, 14:08 IST: The chase wasn't too disimilar to Bangladesh's innings with the only difference being a batsman converting the start into a big one. The hosts never looked in trouble despite losing their first three wickets for 53 runs. The pair of Devon Conway and Tom Latham got together for the fourth wicket to engineer a 113-run stand which proved to be game-changing in the end. Both batters made sure they took the game deep and never showed any concerns of playing too many dots occasionally. The home team boy and skipper, Latham notched up his 5th ODI ton and Neesham put the finishing touches with a 34-ball 30. All in all, a perfect game for New Zealand who had done well despite the absence of some key players in the line-up. Bangladesh, though, dropped as many as 4 catches and will rue the missed opportunities. Hang on for the presentations...

48.1

Saifuddin to Latham, no run, drama! Latham was beaten on the inside edge and the ball deflected off the pad to short cover. Daryl Mitchell sensed a quick single and tripped over in the middle of the pitch, the throw from the fielder was slightly wide and Mitchell gets home with a dive

Mohammad Saifuddin [7.0-0-39-0] is back into the attack

Soumya Sarkar to Daryl Mitchell, FOUR, short once again and Mitchell jumps on it with a well-timed pull, the placement is good and now they're just one hit away from the target

47.4

Soumya Sarkar to Latham, 1 run, touch short outside off, pulled away wide of long-on

Soumya Sarkar, right-arm medium, comes into the attack

Mustafizur seems to have some injury concerns and he's walking off the field. Soumya Sarkar will complete the over

47.3

Mustafizur to Daryl Mitchell, 1 run, opens the bat face and steers the 120ks length delivery to backward point's left

47.2

Mustafizur to Daryl Mitchell, no run, good length just outside off, blocked into the covers

47.1

4

Mustafizur to Daryl Mitchell, FOUR, too full outside off. Change of pace, but it doesn't matter for Daryl Mitchell who's got long levers to clear the field with ease. Gets under the delivery and pumps it over mid-off

46.6

Taskin Ahmed to Latham, no run, was there an edge? Might be. Latham looks to pull the short ball and gets a fine edge off the back of the shoulder of the bat, drops well short of the keeper though

46.5

4

Taskin Ahmed to Latham, FOUR, gets a thick toe-edge on the pull and it flies away over the keeper for a one bounce boundary. New Zealand are just three hits away from sealing this game...

46.4

Taskin Ahmed to Daryl Mitchell, 1 run, good length just outside off, pushed away wide of mid-on and Mitchell's off the mark with a quick single

46.3

Taskin Ahmed to Latham, 1 run, chips the drive off the toe-end to mid-on and a clean pick up would have enabled a run-out opportunity at the bowling end, wasn't to be. Tamim was the fielder there
