Tim Southee collects the trophy and his team-mates join him to celebrate. Loud roars can be heard. That winds down Bangladesh's short limited-overs tour of New Zealand and it also marks the culmination of a very, very successful home summer for the BlackCaps. They've brushed aside every single opponent right from West Indies, Pakistan, Australia, or Bangladesh. Just goes to show how invincible they are at their own den. Bangladesh's search for a win against New Zealand in New Zealand continues. They head home with broken spirits and tired bodies. It's time for us to leave as well. We had fun bringing it to you. Until next time, goodbye and have a great day ahead.
Tim Southee | New Zealand Captain: It's very nice to finish on a such note. Great cricket throughout the summer. Overall, satisfied. His (Astle) two overs just shows you how eagerly he was waiting to get a game. Guys have stepped up whenever we have played. Tremendous support, we loved turning out. We will take some rest and we've got six weeks before we leave for England. I am sure the guys are excited about what's coming up.
Liton Das | Bangladesh Captain: First of all, our batting and fielding haven't been great. That has costed us. We need to think on how to play in bouncy tracks, gotta play smart cricket. We have played World Cups, so we aren't a young bunch but we are learning and next time, we are hopeful of doing better.
Glenn Phillips | Man of the Series: At the moment I am really comfortable with where my game is in the middle order. I know when to go and when to hold back. Good to know that I can do the bowling under pressure as well. This team has been brilliant throughout the series. We love being around each other and playing with each other. It is the culture that produces winning. We always have to have fun, and enjoy playing in front of crowds.
Finn Allen | Man of the Match: It was good fun and batting with Guptill is nice. Thought we'd give ourselves a bit of a chance and play our shots up front. It was excited to get out here, it's a bit intimidating, but it was fun to be talked thorugh every ball and to watch Guptill hit everything out of the park. I just thought I'd stick to my processes and just hit them hard and stick to my strengths. It's pretty cool to learn from all of these guys and it's been a really cool, and it's a good, relaxed environment here to be honest.
23:10 Local Time, 10:10 GMT, 15:40 IST: As clinical as it gets. ODIs - tick. T20Is - Double-tick. Tasked with a Required run-rate of over 14, it was imperative for Bangladesh to go from the outset. Tim Southee drilled their hole to their hopes by picking up Soumya Sarkar and Liton Das in the very first over off consecutive balls. Mohammad Naim gave a good account of himself by launching a couple of sixes but couldn't get going and perished to Todd Astle, who flummoxed the batsmen with his box of tricks and was the catalyst behind New Zealand stemming the run-flow and also finished with 4/13. The visitors kept losing wickets in clusters and their innings nosedived rather too quickly as they folded up for a paltry 76. All the bowlers for the hosts chipped in and it was a solid all-round performance from them.

Southee to Rubel, no run, shortish, Hossain stays back and cross-bats it to extra cover
Southee to Rubel, no run, wobbly slower ball outside off, Hossain wafts and it's a mile away from his bat
Nasum Ahmed, left handed bat, comes to the crease
Southee to Mosaddek Hossain, out Caught by Will Young!! Only if this was off the previous ball, Southee would've had a hat-trick. But anway, Hossain's intends to crash it on the off-side, it bounces more than he expected and hence, slices it up in the air towards cover. Young from point back-pedals, watches the descend carefully and pockets it seamlessly. Mosaddek Hossain c Will Young b Southee 13(8) [6s-1]
Southee to Mosaddek Hossain, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Southee to Mosaddek Hossain, 2 runs, knuckle ball, the seam is upront which is surreal. Hossain cuts it to point and denies him a hat-trick
