That's it from this game. South Africa had it too easy today. Bangladesh would want to salvage some pride in the next game. They will have a little window with South Africa looking to make a few changes. We will see you for that game. Until then have fun. Bye. Happy Diwali to all our Indian followers.
AB de Villiers (Man of the Match): I enjoyed a lot. It is a privilege to play for the country. Hopefully, more to come. I was hitting the ball well. It was nice to have Hash there, he has got a calming effect on all of us. I had a net in Kimberly - one of the best nets. After the first over, the ball came off the middle. We did all the things well today. It crossed my mind (200) but I never play for such things. I wanted to get as many as possible for the team. I am happy with the score I got. I wanted to hit it towards square leg (the ball that he got out on).
Faf du Plessis: Very good performance again. We got an ABD special today. With the ball again, we were brilliant. We were thinking, we assessed that it might be slow in the first 10 overs. But then it got better. I was told the ball is not spinning today, that was the only ball that spun (the one which bowled him). The plan was to use the bumper well. It's important for us to give opportunity to the guys, so we will be making a few changes in the next game.
Mashrafe Mortaza: I think AB was too good. Shakib bowled well in the middle but after that AB took the game away from us. He (de Villiers) is a destroyer. Today, he played one of his best innings. When he is in that sort of a form, as a bowler you have to be perfect else he will punish. The credit goes to him. We will have to work hard in the next game. Everyday someone has stepped up, but not as a group. Hopefully, we will play hard in the next match.
A mismatch of sorts. Bangladesh never looked like getting anywhere near South Africa's mammoth 353. Tamim sparkled early, but a poor decision to not review a LBW call ended his innings, there were fifties from Kayes and Rahim - they added 93 for the third wicket, but they never really lifted the pace of the chase. Mahmudullah helped himself to some batting practice towards the end, but the result was a long foregone conclusion. The hosts complete a big win and they now have an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series.
Dane Paterson to Rubel, out Bowled!! Maiden ODI wicket for Dane Paterson, he has his hands in the air - in sheer relief. The perfect yorker, right at the base of middle and leg-stump, Rubel backed away and was late in bringing his bat down, the leg-stump goes for a walk and South Africa complete a 104-run victory. Rubel b Dane Paterson 8(14) [4s-2]
