SA would be gutted but the Bangladesh camp would be jubilant. They have gone 1-0 up in the series. But Johannesburg provides you with different tests. Will Bangladesh pass that test with flying colours? Will SA bounce back? The answers would be served soon. Tadaa for now...
Tamim Iqbal: It is a big win for us. Special win. Starting from Liton, then Shakib and Yasir batted brilliantly. A six and a four from Miraz. Those quick 25 runs from Mahmudullah. It is a big thing for us. Our fast bowlers are winning games for us. Last two years the fast bowlers are doing brilliantly. You need a character like Mehidy in every team. After going for 40 from 4 overs, he went up to me and asked to bowl. He said he will change the game. He was my Man of the Match. Definitely, we need to give ourselves the best chance. SA are a quality side. They would be eager to bounce back.
Shakib Al Hasan, Player of the Match: When I spend 7-8 balls, I knew we had to score somewhere near 300. We got a good start. It was easier with the old ball. Yasir batted well and a lot of credit should go to him. He played a really good innings. Not easy for someone who is playing his 3rd or 4th game and that too against SA. We needed to take some calculative risks. I thought it was important to go after the bowlers from the 30th-40th over. We knew Rabada would bowl at the end, so had to bring him back early.
Temba Bavuma: They scored 180 runs in the last 20 overs, so going into the break they definitely had the momentum.. We had conversations with the bowling unit but we weren't able to get wickets at the top. Normally we get wickets and get the dots going. Normally, going into the death we know our plans. We took a little longer to do that. We should have been chasing 270-280. When you are chasing over 300, you need one batter to get a 100 and couple others to support them. After my dismissal, we failed to get much momentum apart from the Miller-Rassie partnership and losing Rassie made life very difficult for us. Their bowlers exploited the back of a length spot better. We obviously have to bounce back, Sunday is just around the corner. We need to show the resillience we are known for.
21:30 Local Time, 19:30 GMT, 01:00 IST: Bangladesh take a 1-0 lead. Huge win for them. A little while ago, they won a Test in NZ and now this. Perfomances and victories away from home are always sweeter. They will cherish this for sure. They were sent into bat first and the openers just started off slow. But the second half of the first innings saw Bangladesh going hell for leather. The 300 mark was breached. SA started off on a disastrous note and were behind the 8-ball all the time. Miller and RVD played sparkling knocks but they fell well short.
Mahmudullah to Maharaj, out Lbw!! That's it! Bangladesh win. They would be elated with this unprecedented effort. This is their first win on SA soil against SA in any format. The batters set it up and the bowlers have followed up the good work. That was a flatter delivery, Maharaj went for the reverse paddle and missed it. The ump didn't budge but the review was taken. Three Reds and that put an end to the proceedings. Maharaj lbw b Mahmudullah 23(16) [4s-3 6s-1]
Mahmudullah to Maharaj, THATS OUT!! Lbw!!
Mahmudullah to Ngidi, 1 run, dropped! The man at deep mid drops it. That was flogged across the line and the fielder drops it. Easy one goes down
Mahmudullah to Ngidi, SIX, slower delivery, turning in and Ngidi has smoked one over deep mid for a sixer. That was hit really long
Mahmudullah to Ngidi, wide, quicker one down leg and has been wided
Mahmudullah to Maharaj, 1 run, backs away and cue-ends it down to long-on for a single
Mahmudullah to Maharaj, SIX, short ball, Maharaj has spanked it over deep mid. That is a big blow and SA just reducing the margin. Almost 50 still needed
Mahmudullah [1.0-0-9-0] is back into the attack

Mehidy Hasan to Ngidi, no run, flatter delivery, Ngidi stabs it down into the off-side
Mehidy Hasan to Ngidi, SIX, and that's a rubbish delivery and has been put away over deep backward square. That was short, Ngidi pulls it handsomely over the fence
Mehidy Hasan to Maharaj, 1 run, and too early into the slog on the on-side for a single to deep mid as the ball was well looped up
Mehidy Hasan to Maharaj, no run, and goes for the reverse slog and misses. That was a well tossed up delivery outside off
Mehidy Hasan to Maharaj, FOUR, and slogged across the line and past the man at deep square for a four
