Dimuth now collects the trophy and wastes no time in rushing towards the champions hoarding where his colleagues are busy mastering a splash-worthy pose. They all smile in unison as the fireworks go up in RPS Colombo. It's been that kinda series, a one-way traffic to be precise. Kulasekara may have forgotten that MSD Wankhede 2011 maximum, but today is a day he will fondly remember for the fitting farewell he received to what was truly a spectacular career in white-ball cricket. Remember, he was on the top of the charts for a good few months in ODIs, but that's all past now. And so shall be this series from tomorrow. There's plenty of cricket in store though, starting with the mother of all battles - The Ashes (bring it on already) - tomorrow at Edgbaston. Do remember to tune in for that. Until then, this is Raju Peethala wishing sayonara on behalf of my colleagues Akshay Maanay, Hariprasad Sadanandan and Mukesh Gowda.
Dimuth Karunaratne, Sri Lanka skipper: We were really good from the start and even the youngsters stepped up well. Some of them got a chance today and they did really well. I hope they continue to do well in the future. We were planning to do the basics well and the batsmen capitalized on the starts. I'm still learning and all the guys have supported me and we are playing as a team and to win a series is amazing. Hopefully we will give our best in the New Zealand series as well. We have to be switched on and we have to do really well as its our home series. All the boys are ready and we are looking forward to a challenging series. I want to thank Bangladesh Cricket Board and Tamim for a good series and also all the fans for turning up in all three games.
Angelo Mathews, Man of the Match and Player of the Series: I want to thank Kula for his wonderful service to Sri Lankan cricket, he's been a silent hero. I have been trying to do what I'm capable of in the middle overs. The wickets that we played on were very slow and when the boundaries are bigger you have to run hard and my approach varies from wicket to wicket. I always try to stay positive no matter what. Being a senior player you always go through lot of pressure, but you use the experience to get out of that situation. You should never doubt yourself and just keep going. We have had a pretty disappointing 12-16 months, but the boys have done well. Congratulations to Bangladesh cricket, they have been playing some really good cricket of late. Looking forward to the New Zealand series.
Nuwan Kulasekara receives a memento as a token of appreciation from Sri Lankan Cricket. And there's another one for him on behalf of Ministry of Sports Sri Lanka. Now he reluctantly walks towards the microphone and pauses momentarily before delivering his farewell speech. He is thanking the fans, support staff and all the coaches who, he believes, played a great role in his career. His entire family is behind him and that's one beautiful frame of picture I tellya. Kula, with moist eyes, continues to find pitch in his voice as he thanks all the trainers and physio staff for their hard work and dedication. Great to see Lasith Malinga among the audience. A special mention to Champaka Ramanayake in the end, and a memento of the jersey (Kulasekara - 92) in the end too.
Tamim Iqbal, Bangladesh skipper: Taijul Islam was the really positive, the way he bowled in the last two games was exceptional. There were a lot of negatives as well and from day one I have been talking about responsibility. I have played for 12 years and there are other players who played a lot for the nation. It's disappointing to see the way we performed. I let myself down starting from the World Cup, I tried and probably I wasn't good enough. Maybe I have to take some time out of the game and come back fresh to get back the confidence.
Nuwan Kulasekara gets a guard of honor from the Sri Lankan players as he ambles towards the presentation area, perhaps to receive a few precious mementos and awards
21:26 Local Time, 15:56 GMT, 21:26 IST: The players shake hands as they mosey out towards the dressing room. Tamim doesn't look happy while some of the Sri Lankan players are engaged in a chitter-chatter session around the circumference. A thoroughly dominating performance from Sri Lanka. They needed something like this after all that they endured over the last 44 months. Once Tamim - Arguably Bangladesh's best batsman in this eleven - got out, it needed one of Mushfiqur or Mahmudullah to stand up but the duo were dismissed cheaply just at the wrong time and things just went downhill for the visitors. Dasun Shanka, playing his first game of the series, was nothing short of exceptional while Rajitha and Kumara shared the cleaning up duties at both ends of the innings respectively. It was all set up after some responsible batting from the Sri Lanka's top five.

Wanidu Hasaranga to T Islam, out Rubel Run Out!! Sri Lanka whitewash Bangladesh 3-0. A resounding victory for the home team and a well-deserved one at that. Taijul nudges this full ball to backward square and calls his partner through for a quick single, the Sri Lankan captain though was very much alert and he's fired a superb low throw to the keeper to comlete the formalities. Rubel run out (Karunaratne/Kusal Perera) 2(6)
Wanidu Hasaranga to T Islam, THATS OUT!! Run Out!!
Wanidu Hasaranga to T Islam, no run, flicks and finds backward square
Wanidu Hasaranga to T Islam, 2 runs, goes for the lapsweep and he's played it fine to complete an easy second
Wanidu Hasaranga to T Islam, no run, full on middle, blocked gently into the leg-side
Wanidu Hasaranga to T Islam, FOUR, goes for the slogsweep and he connects it well, jumps out of his crease and gives the ball a full-blooded bottom hand swing over mid-wicket
Wanidu Hasaranga to T Islam, no run, appeal for lbw but that's clearly a desperate one. Full and dips on leg-stump, Taijul missed the slogsweep and he's pinned well outside the leg stump. Sri Lanka think about a review, but the skipper decides against it at the last minute

Jayasuriya to Rubel, 2 runs, full on leg-stump, flicked away to deep square and they squeeze two in a hurry
Jayasuriya to T Islam, 1 run, slightly full and on the stumps, worked away into the mid-wicket pocket
Jayasuriya to T Islam, FOUR, he wants to have some fun is Taijul Islam. Picked up the flight and went with the spin to swat it between long-on and deep mid-wicket. Kusal Mendis tries his best in the deep, but he comes second in the race
Jayasuriya to T Islam, FOUR, brings out more innovation now, plays the reverse sweep and makes sure he middles it through backward point for a well-placed boundary
Jayasuriya to T Islam, SIX, goes down on one knee and tonks this clean and neat over the cow corner fence for a 81-metre maximum. Superb strike that from Taijul Islam
Jayasuriya to T Islam, no run, opens the bat face and pushes the flatter delivery into the off-side
