That concludes the presentations. Bangladesh scrape through this one to take a 1-0 lead. These sides lock horns once again on Tuesday. Can UAE level the series? Join us then, goodbye for now...

Afif Hossain: Always feels good to bat under pressure, I wanted to bat till the end and good to come out of it as a success. No extra pressure on us despite missing a few senior players. We have to play our best XI at all times. I hope I can get runs in the next game as well. The fans were really good, thanks to them.

Nururl Hasan: They bowled well in the powerplay, we lost three wickets. There was also dew so our bowlers couldn't grip it, we felt we were short by 10-15 runs. We missed wickets in the powerplay but our bowlers Shoriful and Miraz bowled very well at the death. Afif played really well, rotating strike throughout and it was crucial for us.

CP Rizwan: Happy partly with the performance. We had our moments, we made a match out of it but there is always room to improve. Small things matter in the end, we'll learn from this and come back stronger. (On dropped catches) If you don't take them, quality batters will make us pay. Proud of this performance with the bat, we started very well but lost too many wickets in the middle. Very proud of the 16-year-old kid that made a match of it. I think if we play more games against quality sides like Bangladesh, our cricket will improve.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz: It was an excellent match, the boys played really well, specially Afif. Team management decided to ask me to open, I enjoy that role because I play that position in domestic cricket. This surface was a bit difficult to bowl on with the dew, it was about being mentally strong to play easily. I try to think positively all the time. It was a great achievement for us today with such a young team.

21:41 Local Time, 17:41 GMT, 23:11 IST: A thriller in Dubai as UAE gave Bangladesh an almighty scare with their chase. They got a decent start, with opener Chirag Suri top scoring with 39 runs. He was well supported by Aryan Lakra and Muhammad Waseem, but Bangladesh somehow managed to pick wickets at the right moments to stay in control of the game. In the first ten overs, UAE were on course for a win, but then they lost too many wickets and fell behind the asking rate. They needed more than ten an over after 16, but bowlers Karthik Meiyappan and Junaid Siddique swung their willows with nothing to lose. 16-year-old Aayan Afzal Khan also batted brilliantly under pressure, but fell in the final over to all but draw curtains to the chase. Bangladesh claim a narrow win to take a 1-0 lead. Stick around for the presentations.

Shoriful Islam to Junaid Siddique, 1 run, dropped! Oh dear me!! Short pitched on off, Siddique splices his cut and it goes in the air tamely towards covers. A regulation catch put down by Saifuddin. How costly could that be?
