Bangladesh won by 6 wkts - Match reduced to 41 overs per side due to wet outfield

Bangladesh played a wonderful brand of cricket today. Their bowlers did the bulk of the hardwork on a responsive wicket. But both pacers and spinners came to party and that combined effort has helped them to a win. Chance for Windies to bounce back. And a chance for us to exit as well. See ya soon...
Tamim Iqbal: I think the wicket was difficult. Luckily we won the toss. The way the bowlers bowled helped. Very pleasing with the bowling effort. It is not a blame game. He thought it was a run. I responded. We won the game and that's good. We just need to apply ourselves better. Nasum was fantastic. He bowled really well.
Nic Pooran: In the hindsight, not enough. It was difficult to get more batting first on that track. The last wicket partnership gave us a chance. Well played to Bangladesh. It did get better. We could have done better in the powerplay. We need to find ways of putting up runs on the board. Gudakesh got a chance in front of his home crowd. He has a bright future and am really happy for him.
Mehidy Hasan, Player of the Match: We weren't able to practice for the last few days because of rain. The wicket was tricky. It did turn a little. So, I kept it simple. We played really well against SA in the ODIs. Here we lost the Tests and T20Is. But we bounced back.
17:48 Local Time, 21:48 GMT, 03:18 IST: Bangladesh have managed to make short work of 150. Given their poor run on the tour, it seemed that this game will be closely fought but Bangladesh barring a couple of soft dismissals bossed the chase with elan. Tamim and Nazmul scored briskly in the opening 10 and that set the tone for the chase. Mahmudullah was solid but got lucky as well with Nurul Hasan chipping in with the goods at the end. This win though was set up by the bowlers after rain took out 9 overs each from both the innings.
Jayden Seales to Mahmudullah, FOUR, short ball, the ball doesn't bounce much but Mahmudullah pulls it behind square for a four. That was sweetly timed. Bangladesh win by 6 wickets. First win of the tour
