Mahmudullah collects the trophy and hands it over to the youngsters. The Bangladesh players pose for the photographs behind the 'WINNERS' banner. Bangladesh 2 -- 1 Zimbabwe! After winning five successive games on this tour, they stuttered in the second T20I. However, their batsmen showed no signs of hangover of that loss as they clinically hunted down 194 - their second highest successful chase in this format. Tougher challenges await Bangladesh, their next assignment is a five-match T20I series at home against Australia starting in just over a week. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, will be heading to Ireland where 30 WCSL points will be up for grabs before the sides face-off in a five-match T20I series. It's time to bring down the curtain on this well-fought multi-format series. Hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we did bringing it to you. On that note, it's goodbye from all of us down here. Cheers!
Mahmudullah | Bangladesh captain: The boys showed their character in the middle. Each and every one contributed and in the end, Shamim played a crucial knock. Altogether it was a good batting effort. When you are chasing 190+, you have to build partnerships and rotate strike and try to hit boundaries in each over. That was our plan and we tried to take it as deep as we can. Soumya is a useful all-rounder, he gave me two wickets. And he stood up and scored some runs for the team. Looking forward to the next bubble and looking forward to the next series.
Soumya Sarkar is the Player of the Match and Player of the Series
Sikandar Raza | Zimbabwe captain: Every game we have shown a lot of improvement, we have ticked a lot of boxes. 193 was well defendable on that track. Until the 18th over, I was confident that we would win. The last couple of overs swayed away and cost us the game. It's not easy to play any series without the senior guys. To see the youngsters standing up is a foot in the right direction. Hopefully we can rectify the mistakes. The two ODIs went to the last over, 40-odd extras in two games, you'll struggle against any team. If we stay calm, we can go a long way. Heads will remain high.
Andy Pycroft receives a memento for officiating in his 100th T20I..
16:08 Local Time, 14:08 GMT, 19:38 IST: Shamim Hossain - the 20-year-old - is pumped up. He's known to be a finisher and he's taken his team home playing just his second match. Mind you, Bangladesh are without some of their regulars and they were chasing a stiff target. Despite losing the customary wicket to Blessing Muzarabani early in the innings, Shakib and Soumya Sarkar ensured that their team had a good powerplay, if not a great one. Shakib played one shot too many and perished, but that was followed by a counterattacking 63-run stand between Sarkar and captain Mahmudullah. The former picked two crucial wickets with the ball and followed it with a calm-and-composed half-century. Even after his downfall, Bangladesh's asking rate never shot up as they got the boundaries at regular intervals. Muzarabani was once again Zimbabwe's best bowler, but none of his team-mates managed to exert pressure on the Bangladeshi batsmen. Despite a good show with the bat, the Zimbabweans ended up on the losing side. Hang around for the presentations..

Just 5 runs needed off the final over. Shamim Hossain will look to finish it one ball against the spinner..

Muzarabani to Shamim Hossain, byes, 1 run, sharp bumper against a batsman who's dancing down the pitch. Shamim Hossain had to duck under it to evade and the Bangladesh duo nab a single via byes. Another good outing for Blessing Muzarabani!
Bangladesh are one hit away from winning the series..
Muzarabani to Nurul Hasan, 1 run, away-slanting good length ball, late-steered to third man
Nurul Hasan, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Muzarabani to Mahmudullah, out Caught by Chakabva!! Edged and taken! Chakabva takes a superb one-handed catch diving to his right. Full, quick and wide of off, Mahmudullah chases with hard hands for a drive and only manages an outside edge. A wicket too little, too late? Or can Zimbabwe still spring a surprise?
