Masakadza poses with the mementos he had received during the presentations. Nice to see him going off on a high and with a historic win to make it all the more special. That's all from us here. Bangladesh will take on Afghanistan tomorrow, a dress rehearsal before the final on Tuesday. Until then, it's goodbye!

Masakadza, Zimbabwe captain: Fantastic feeling to finish off like that. Always knew the boys had a performance in them. Good to get a send off like this. Was fantastic to be with the boys today. At the end of the knock I was wishing I had stopped two games ago. Something we spoke about in the changing room. Just a monkey to get off our backs - we hadn't beaten them in T20Is. To pull it off in my last one was special. Boys have shown a lot of fight throughout the tournament, just have failed to close it off in stages. Would've been different had we won the opener. Lot of ups and downs in the career. Few highlights stand out - being the most capped player for Zimbabwe, Grant Flower handing me the cap when we were playing against Pakistan in Bulawayo, first overseas win in Sri Lanka, and the Test match that we won here which was my first win as a Test captain. Have to give something back to the game, give something back to the youngsters as well. Will try to be around on the domestic circuit and bring some more guys through. All in all, really thankful to the team. All those who supported me. Lots of feelings going through me today. Biggest one is lots of thankfulness.

Mpofu, MoM: Had a good outing, enjoyed it. Just tried to use the bouncer, and worked a few changes of pace. Wicket supported it. Everything came our way in the field, we did all right.

Rashid, Afghanistan captain: We tried our best. Had a good start but didn't finish off well. That's a part of T20 cricket. Had a good game, will take the positives and will try not to repeat the mistakes. Main idea behind using different players is preparing the team for the World Cup and the Asia Cup. They did well. Had good debuts. Good sign for Afghanistan cricket that you have different players for different formats. They can adjust themselves. Having totally different teams for the three formats is helping us. The contributions of the youngsters is quite pleasing.

21:41 Local Time, 15:41 GMT, 21:11 IST: Draped in the Zimbabwe flag, Masakadza is getting plenty of hugs from his teammates in the dugout. A memorable farewell performance from the stalwart of Zimbabwe cricket, smashing 71 off 42 balls to end Afghanistan's 12-match winning streak in T20Is. Their bowlers had done a splendid job to pull things back early on, when Afghanistan looked set for a big total at 107/1. And then the captain took over with the bat, signing off in style after an 18-year international career to ensure Zimbabwe don't return from Bangladesh without a win.
