So, that brings an end to the Australian leg of this tri-series. The results show how dominating the Aussies have been. Who will the seal the other spot? There are still three more matches left to find that out. Wellington will be hosting the next game between New Zealand and England. We'll be back for that. Until then, it's goodbye from Abhinand Raghavendran on behlaf of Pratyush Sinha and Nikhil Jadhav.

Warner: They have been in tremendous form. They are playing with freedom and they are playing fearless. The pitch had a little bit in it if you bowled that good length. The way they executed was fantastic. The way the batters finished was clinical. Credit to the bowlers, allowed them to set their own fields, they've accepted the responsibilty and delivered. He (Short) is a fantastic player. He has shown us that he has a different gear. He played that anchor role. It's exciting. I love to go to New Zealand. As a player, it's deceptive that ground at Eden Park. Looking forward to that challenge.

Kane Richardson, Man of the Match: Interesting choice, but I'll take it. When you've got Marcus and Ashton bowling so well, it makes your job easier. It's been fun. Everyone seems to be knowing their roles. There is a lot of clarity in the team.

Jos Buttler: Another poor performance from us. We didn't soak up the pressure with the bat. None of us really got going. They've got some good players. We haven't performed to our abilities. Looking forward to NZ. We look forward to those games. We didn't do justice to ourselves.

22:16 Local Time, 11:16 GMT, 16:46 IST: Three wins in three matches and Australia guarantee a spot in the final. A magnificent performance from the home team. Chasing a par-score, Australia lost their skipper Warner in the very first over. But, that didn't stop Lynn from going after the bowlers. He came out all guns blazing and his quickfire 31 off 19 brought the asking rate down to 6. After his dismissal, D'Arcy Short was joined by the in-form Maxwell and together they just took the game away from the Englishmen. They took special liking to the spinners, scoring 39 off two overs and the game was dusted there. Finch, with his lusty blows, ensured an early finish. A thumping win with 33 balls to spare.

Willey to Finch, SIX, Finch finishes it off with a couple of sixes. Willey bangs one short and provides width outside off which allows the batter to free his arms. Finch hops and upper-cuts it behind square on the off-side. Well over the boundary rope in the third man region and Australia win by 7 wickets

Willey to Finch, SIX, oh my goodness! That's been absolutely muscled. He backed away even before the ball was delivered. It was a slower ball, the local boy waited for the ball and bludgeoned it over long-on for a massive six. Incredible hit

Willey shifts to round the wicket

Willey to D Arcy Short, 1 run, slower ball on the pads, tickled to short fine leg

Jordan to Finch, FOUR, another mistimed shot and another boundary. That's the power of Finch. Off the inside part of the bat. This was bowled on the fuller side and Finch went hard on the drill. The ball found the gap between mid-on and rolled away

Jordan to Finch, FOUR, short again and Finch goes for the pull, although he wasn't in a good position. Gets it off his glove and hence the ball went very fine. Beats the diving fine leg fielder and Finch notches up his maiden boundary

13.4

Jordan to Finch, no run, Finch is late on his pull against this short ball. Gets a faint edge as the ball rolls to backward square leg

13.3

Jordan to D Arcy Short, 1 run, slow and short, a controlled pull shot to deep backward square leg

13.2

Jordan to D Arcy Short, no run, Jordan gets away with this poor ball. Length and down the leg-side, Short misses the glance. Brushes the pad on its way to the keeper

Aaron Finch, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Jordan to Maxwell, out Caught by Buttler!! Maxwell is gone, but he has done the damage. It was banged in short by Jordan and the Victorian all-rounder wanted to flat-bat it over the bowler's head. All he manages is a top-edge, which balloons up and settles into the safe gloves of Buttler. Maxwell c Buttler b Jordan 39(26) [4s-3 6s-2]
