The English players crowd around their captain as he lifts the trophy. England celebrate as they take the series 2-1. That's all we've got for you today. Do join us for the 1st T20I on 9 March. Until then, take care and goodbye.

Tamim Iqbal | Bangladesh captain: We were really looking forward to this game, we wanted to finish on a high. We take a lot of pride in the ODI format. We were in a good position in the first game but we threw it away. Credit to England, they played really well. Today as well, we should have scored 260-270 but the bowlers did really well. Lot of room for improvement, we are a good team in ODIs but there's a lot of room for improvement when we go overseas. We need to challenge ourselves and adapt to different conditions. There are some exciting players coming into the T20 squad and I wish them all the best.

Adil Rashid | Player of the Series: It felt good, lot of credit goes to our bowlers. There's something special about Rehan Ahmed, as time goes on he'll develop his game. You adjust whenever you play. I tried to have a gameplan and execute it.

Shakib Al Hasan | Player of the Match: We've been very good at home in the last 5-7 years. Unfortunately we lost this series but I think we showed a lot of character today so we can take credit from it. We thought we were 20-30 runs short, the situation we were in, we could have scored more. Our bowlers spoke about stepping up and getting the job done. Luckily they did the job for us today. We expect our top order players to score 100s and not 50s so I guess that's an area we can improve on.

Jos Buttler | England captain: We desperately wanted to win this game but we're still delighted to win the series. We were happy with the score they posted but Bangladesh fought back hard with the ball. It was a great opportunity for Sam Curran to go out and express himself with the series already won. We got exactly what we wanted from this series. We wanted to play on wickets like there and it was great to challenge ourselves. It'll serve as great preparation for the World Cup. We're really looking forward to the T20 series, it's a format we like so we're hoping for an exciting series.

19:29 Local Time, 13:29 GMT, 18:59 IST: A consolation win for Bangladesh, it'll help their confidence as they head into the T20 leg of the tour. On a slow wicket, Bangladesh batted quite well to post 246 and they backed it up with a clinical bowling performance. England's openers got off to a brisk start but all of Salt, Malan and Roy fell in quick succession after playing poor shots. Curran, who was promoted up the order, stitched a handy 49-run stand with Vince before holing out to long-off. Two more wickets fell on the back off that and that pushed England on to the backfoot. Bangladesh never let them off the hook, the spinners kept things tight and Buttler, who was the last recognized batter, fell trying to play the reverse-sweep. There was little hope for England thereafter despite Woakes playing a steady hand at one end. Mustafizur wrapped things up with a juggling return catch to ensure Bangladesh avoided a whitewash. The ever-reliable Shakib Al-Hasan was the star of the show for Bangladesh, his 71-ball 75 was instrumental in getting Bangladesh up to a competitive total and he came back to pick up 4 wickets in the 2nd innings.
