Bangladesh are going to celebrate this victory well into the night. They just showed how strong they are at home and even the defending champions didn't stand a chance against them. England will take back lessons from this series and knowledge about players who thrived in these conditions. That's a wrap from us. Keep tuning in for all the cricket updates. Until next time, goodbye and stay safe..

Shakib Al Hasan | Bangladesh captain: We were really good in this series and fielded exceptionally well and that was a major change. There's a World Cup next year and we can build on this victory. We batted really well on a tricky wicket and we didn't know what was a good total. Litton and Rony started well and Shanto finished it off. The two set batters got out in two balls and that changed the game completely, Mustafizur was exceptional with the ball. That will be another challenge for us. Ireland are a very good side in the T20 format.

Najmul Hossain Shanto | Player of the series: Thanks to almighty. Good thing to win this series. Special thanks to all the coaching staff and players. This is very important as a team, if we field well it helps the bowlers. We have a big series coming up, we hope we can continue our good performance.

Litton Das | Player of the Match: I am really happy. When the ball was new it was challenging, there was a bit of extra kick and I had to take time to get used to the surface. The way Shanto and Rony batted, they took the pressure off me and allowed me to build the innings.

Jos Buttler | England captain: Really disappointing to lose the series, congratulations to Bangladesh, they outplayed us completely. We came back well (at the death), we missed some opportunities in the field which is disappointing. The wicket got better as it went on and I thought we did well to restrict them to the total we did. We hoped we could chase it down but it didn't happen. Losing two wickets quickly was crucial. Very disappointed in myself for not diving and being fully committed to completing that run.

18:31 Local Time, 12:31 GMT, 18:01 IST: How did England lose this? They were in complete control till the 13th over. Malan was batting on 50+, Buttler was well set and the pair had added 95 for the second wicket, but the game changed in two balls which saw both batters back in the hut. Even though the asking rate was under control, it was not easy for the new batters to come in and start smoking them out of the park. Bangladesh were excellent at the death, especially Mustafizur and Taskin, the duo conceded only 9 runs from the 17th and 18th over. Shakib then took the responsibility of bowling the penultimate over and left Mahmud with 27 runs in the bank. The youngster held his nerve after being hit for boundaries off the first two balls and bowled his side to victory. This is a famous win for Bangladesh as they have whitewashed the defending T20 champions and the excitement can be seen as the BCB chairman was also on his feet applauding even before the match was over. Hang around for the presentations..
