A seven-match series is a rarity these days and it might have seemed like an overkill before the series started. But the way these four games have panned out, today in particular, we can only be happy that there are three more left. Series is locked at 2-2 and it is the end of the Karachi leg. The caravan now moves to Lahore for the remainder of the series. We should be in for more thrills and entertainment. On that note, this is Hari Sadanandan signing off on behalf of Akshay Maanay and Praveen. Cheers!
Babar Azam | Pakistan captain: The way we started with the bat, we were about 10-15 runs short. Bowlers were outstanding for us. We are trying to keep our middle order flexible and use it according to the situation. In different games, we've tried different combinations. He (Rauf) is our key bowler, and he is getting even better day-by-day.
Moeen Ali | England captain: It was a great game, could have gone both ways. We should have chased it down, disappointed that we couldn't. Lost too many wickets upfront, did well to keep hanging in there. Brooksy did well again, Duckett too. Liam (Dawson) had a great game, obviously he'll be disappointed to not finish things off.
Haris Rauf | Player of the Match: Glad that we won the game. Only thing in my mind was that if I get him (Dawson) out, the rest are tailenders, so I knew we had a chance. Pressure will always be there in international cricket, you have to know how to handle it. I was just looking to execute my strengths.
23:03 Local Time, 18:03 GMT, 23:33 IST: The contrast in emotions can't be defined better. On one side, Masood is being mobbed by his mates at the ground. Back in the dugout, Dawson has his head down in disbelief and grief, looks inconsolable. The extreme emotions of this unpredictable format. What a contest though! Pakistan seemed to have won this when England were 14/3, and then when the visitors slipped to 130/7. Duckett-Brook-Moeen did the initial repair job but with 37 needed off 21 and just three wickets left, it really did seem game over for England. But this generation of England players don't believe in backing down, not without a fight and one of their seasoned domestic stars in Dawson came to the party. The all-rounder absolutely destroyed Hasnain in the 18th over that went for a whopping 24 runs. He then hit Rauf for a boundary next over as well and with only five needed off 10 balls, you thought the game was finally over. Not to be. Rauf, the master death bowler that he is, roared back, removing Dawson and Stone off successive deliveries to take this game right down to the wire. Only four were needed in the final over and it was about holding the nerves. Pakistan did.
Mohammad Wasim Jr to Topley, out Topley Run Out!! Pakistan have stolen this! They absolutely have. And Masood is the man who brings the final nail down on this roller-coaster of a heist. Topley clearly wanted to tap and run, nudged this towards the mid-wicket region again and Masood was better prepared this time. Swooped in on the ball and had enough time to hit the stumps at the bowler's end. And hit he did. Topley was way short. The series is 2-2 with this corker of a game. Vintage T20 cricket. What a game! Topley run out (Masood) 0(3)
Mohammad Wasim Jr to Topley, THATS OUT!! Run Out!!
Mohammad Wasim Jr to Topley, no run, dot ball! Perfect start to the over for Pakistan. Topley jabs this with soft hands but there is a fielder close in at mid-wicket. Prevents the single. Adil Rashid just about gets back
Mohammad Wasim Jr [3.0-0-30-1] is back into the attack

Haris Rauf to Adil Rashid, no run, play and a miss! So Rashid won't be on strike for the final over. Back of a length delivery, Rashid slashes it away
Haris Rauf to Topley, leg byes, 1 run, another searing yorker! Topley survives by the barest of margins. Got struck on the back pad but the extreme inward tail of this delivery saved him in the end. Pakistan went for the review but never looked out. Pitching outside leg and that's the end of that
Reece Topley, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Pakistan review for LBW. Didn't seem close in real time but they will try their luck. Pitching outside leg and the rest doesn't matter. NOT OUT!
Haris Rauf to Olly Stone, out Bowled!! Knocks him over! Rauf has 2 in 2! Look at all that noise in the stadium! Seems like the roof might come off. Fast, full and at the stumps, too pacy for a tailender like Stone who can't get his bat down in time. Hears the death rattle behind him and this incredibly topsy-turvy game has one more twist in its tale. Unreal stuff! Olly Stone b Haris Rauf 0(1)
Haris Rauf to Olly Stone, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!
Olly Stone, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Haris Rauf to Dawson, out Caught by (sub)Mohammad Haris!! Rauf brings Pakistan right back into this! Oh, the drama! This is peak T20 cricket. Fiery short ball, too much heat on this and Dawson's attempted pull shot ends up as a tame top-edge. Only as far as mid-wicket. Haris the sub takes a crucial catch. Two more wickets, that's what Pakistan will think. Oh, my, what a cracker this is! Dawson c (sub)Mohammad Haris b Haris Rauf 34(17) [4s-5 6s-1]
Haris Rauf to Dawson, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Haris Rauf to Dawson, FOUR, there he goes again! Dawson with one of the finest cameos of all time! Short ball from Rauf, pacy, it's pulled uppishly over mid-wicket and it's in the gap as well. Just five more needed now
Haris Rauf to Dawson, no run, back of a length around off, Dawson gets cramped for room as he tries to steer this away. Bottom edge that rolls near the stumps and Adil Rashid rightly sends his partner back
