Pakistan made quite a few radical changes after their innings defeat in the first Test. The selection committee was rejigged. Babar Azam, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi were omitted. They decided to use the same pitch that was used for the first Test and decided to stack their XI with spinners (with just one seamer). And it's safe to say they all clicked.

Masood: First one is always special, it has come after some hard times. A lot has happened over the last week. You have to applaud the group. You can't doubt the effort. It'll be special for everyone. We were able to pick 20 wickets and post decent totals. A change of strategy. We tried green seamers against Bangladesh. We haven't played too much Test cricket in Multan. Noman and Sajid coming in, it's never easy, they looked like seasoned campaigners. Zahid didn't bowl much but he was there for the team and so was Jamal. Everyone chipped in. For Kami (Kamran Ghulam), it's never easy, we were all behind him, he looked like he belonged here. Agha is probably one of my favourite players, he's a team player.

Stokes: If you look at the whole Test, the ones who had success were the ones who put the spinners under pressure. Duckett's hundred in the first innings showed us the way. I don't like to live by hindsight. You don't get them too often behind the wickets, you have to take those chances. In conditions like this, Potts and Carse kept charging in ball after ball. That's what you want. They were a big threat which a massive help. Good to get through this game, worked hard to get fit for this game. Looking forward to the next week now. It's been a great series so far.

Sajid Khan | Player of the Match: We lost the last two series, we just backed our process. Thanks to the Multan crowd for all the support. Noman is one of the most experienced players, he shares his experienced and he's played everywhere. First innings, I got out early and he scored. In the second innings, I batted below him and gave support to Salman.

11:45 Local Time, 06:45 GMT, 12:15 IST: Pakistan end their 11-match winless streak at home and level the series 1-1. They took a gamble to go spin-heavy and the two finger spinners have delivered for the hosts. All 20 wickets picked by Noman Ali (11) and Sajid Khan(9)! England needed 261 runs with 8 wickets in hand and the odds were stacked against them. Sajid Khan removed Pope in the second over of the day and it was the Noman show after that. England, like yesterday, employed different types of sweeps and that was always going to be a high-risk ploy on a spinning (technically ninth day) track. Ben Stokes top-scored with sweeps and reverse-sweeps but eventually got out stumped when he decided to step out of his crease. Brydon Carse struck three sixes but England weren't able to put any sort of pressure on the Pakistan spinners. Masood used just two spinners in the final innings and they wrapped up the proceedings inside 34 overs.
