It was a hard fought series and South Africa should be proud of the way they played. Both teams stayed in the hunt right through the three games and eventually the final T20 ended in the last over with five balls to spare. The home side have a lot of positives to take into the Australia series in which they might welcome the likes of Faf du Plessis and Rabada. That clash begins on Friday (February 21). Do join us for all the action from that series. Time to pull the plug on this one. Until next time, goodbye and take care..
Eoin Morgan | England captain | MoM and MoS: It was a helluva of a game. We have to commend both sides. It was not the easiest grounds to bowl at. Our guys found it extremely tough at the start, Quinny came in and got them off to a flier, we didn't really hold momentum from there. When any sides post 220 it is a tough ask. Going back to 2016 World T20 with this group of players, we chased down 230 against the South African side, there is always the belief going in at the halfway stage. If we can get a partnership going, we can be quite destructive and the guys up top really laid the platform. Extremely satisfying whenever I contribute to a win. It is a nice note to leave this tour on, leaving with silverware having drawn the ODI series. We have loved every minute of this tour. Everybody in South Africa has been so hospitable. The cricket that we have played has been so close and there has been nothing between the two sides. It has definitely been a hugely productive series.
Quinton de Kock | South Africa captain: Coming into this third T20 game, we knew it was going to be a good game. Looking at the surface we knew it was going to be a high scoring game. Obviously a great game but disappointed that we didn't get over the line. I think it was mixed emotions (at the halfway mark). We were confident but we knew we had a job in hand, it was a great wicket. We felt it was just above par and a defendable total. They (the bowlers) tried their hearts out but it was unfortunate. I haven't seen him yet, I am not too sure (Bavuma injured himself while fielding). There is only so much I can do about it, I am pretty calm and everybody is human, guys do tend to get it wrong. It is about going back and working hard and correcting those mistakes. As we get closer to the World Cup we have to be a lot clearer about our plans. For now, we are giving opportunities to one or two guys who deserve their chance.

18:05 Local Time, 16:05 GMT, 21:35 IST: 448 runs scored and it is England who walk away with the win. They were always in the game because of the flat surface and the short boundaries couple that with their long batting line-up, it needed South Africa to be on top of their game to defend this total. And unfortunately they weren't as all the bowlers were taken around the park. Roy went early but Buttler, who had failed in the first two games, came to the party and added a 91-run stand with Bairstow. Both batsmen got to their respective fifties and set the platform up for their skipper. Morgan walked out when the asking rate was back to 11 but he ensured England stayed in the game as he took it deep and finished it with five balls to spare. Hang around for the presentations..
Phehlukwayo to Moeen Ali, FOUR, England take the series 2-1. It is their second highest chase in T20Is and it is their captain leading from the front. The slower ball and Ali had plenty of gaps to pick from as the field was up with one run needed, he lofts it over mid-off to seal the victory

Lungi Ngidi
4-0-55-2
Ngidi to Morgan, 2 runs, in the air and put down. This was a tough one and Pretorius tries his best. Slower off-cutter and Morgan is down on his knee to play the slog sweep, the top-edge skies up over short fine and Pretorius runs back to get his hands to it, the ball does not stick and the backing up fielder tidies up
Ngidi to Morgan, SIX, fifty for Morgan. He equals his own record of the fastest T20I fifty for England. A captain's knock from him and he must see this through. The slower ball that is leg-lined, Morgan sits down on his back knee and deposits it into the grass banks near backward square leg
Ngidi to Morgan, SIX, Morgan is doing it for England. A low full toss and he might have missed it the previous time but not this time, he crouches low to get right under it and smokes it over a leaping deep mid-wicket fielder. 9 off 8 now..
Ngidi to Moeen Ali, 1 run, dropped! Ngidi is down on his haunches. Plenty of people in the crowd have their hands on their head. They cannot believe it. The bouncer and Ali has no other option than to take it on, the top-edge skies up towards square leg and Pretorius runs across from short fine, he gets there but the ball pops out as he hits the ground
Ngidi to Morgan, 1 run, low full toss and Morgan will feel missed out there as he drills it to long-on
Moeen Ali, left handed bat, comes to the crease
Ngidi to Stokes, out Caught by (sub)Hendricks!! There's the twist. And it is that man again - Ngidi. He did it in East London and needs to pull one off at Centurion as well. Full and angled across from over the wicket, Stokes clears his front leg and does not middle the heave, straight down Hendricks's throat at deep square leg. The crowd come alive as they expect another tight finish. Stokes c (sub)Hendricks b Ngidi 22(12) [4s-1 6s-2]
Ngidi to Stokes, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
England have this in the bag. 17 off 12 needed. But do they? They were in a similar kind of situation in the first T20I as well. But having their skipper and one of their most experienced batsmen in Stokes does put them in the driver's seat.
Pat: Really sad how the role of bowlers is becoming less and less significant and batting is becoming easier, particularly with big bats and small boundaries. Might as well use bowling machines instead.

Phehlukwayo to Morgan, 2 runs, full delivery around off, Morgan walks across and drills it past Phehlukwayo, the call was for two immediately and Stokes responds to his skipper. They scamper back comfortably to end another big over
