The action now moves on to St. Kitts where the remaining two matches of this tour will be played. Windies would want to live up to their expectations of being the champions in this format, hence a better performance is expected on Friday. Can they level things up or will England take an unassailable lead in the series? We shall find that out in a couple of days. That's all for the night from our side. Laters!
Eoin Morgan - The bowlers were magnificent, taking early wickets. Seam bowlers did a good job, so did Adil Rashid and Curran later. Rashid has proven that he has the ability to come at any time of the game and take wickets. He's a wicket-taker and an asset for us. One of the better time was to bat in the first six overs. The slower ball was the way to go as even Pooran was struggling to hit big against the slower balls.
Jonny Bairstow, Man of the Match - Was great fun. It's great to be back and play with a lot of freedom. Few guys have headed back home, hence it was a good chance to step up. There's no point of being three of four wickets down. It's good fun with the gloves, there were not many catches in Tests.
Jason Holder - We were scrappy in the field. The wicket was a bit two paced but we bowled too many extras and missed too many chances. We'll regroup and come back strongly. Really happy that Pooran got runs.
A nonchalant run chase by England has helped them open their account in the T20I series in the very first match. Earlier in the day they restricted Windies to a mediocre total and then it was time for their openers to do their bit. Hales got the visitors off to a flier while Bairstow played a superb knock of 68 (his highest T20I score) and laid the foundation for the remaining run chase. Windies were sloppy in the field as they put down a number of catches but being the World champions in this format they'll be looking forward to bounce back in the second T20I with a much improved performance. Hang on for the presentations...
Cottrell to Tom Curran, 1 run, Curran hits the winning shot! Pulls the short ball over mid-wicket and completes a single before the ball reaches the fence. England win by 4 wickets and go 1-0 up in the 3-match T20I series
Cottrell to Willey, 1 run, bunts the slower delivery to mid-on and scores are level with this single
Cottrell to Willey, byes, FOUR, England inch closer to victory, just two more needed. This was a short ball down the leg side and Willey couldn't get bat on his pull. The ball takes off, beats the keeper's leap and races away to the fence in no time
Cottrell to Tom Curran, 1 run, on a length around off, Tom Curran punches it through covers
Tom Curran, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Cottrell to Billings, out Bowled!! Cottrell comes back into the attack and bags his third wicket. Bowls a slower delivery on middle and Billings is way too early in his swing. Misses it altogether and finds his furniture disturbed. And there's the salute by the left-arm pacer. Billings b Cottrell 18(16) [4s-1]
Cottrell to Billings, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!
Sheldon Cottrell [3.0-0-26-2] is back into the attack

Holder to Willey, no run, very full outside off, Willey squeezes it to point
Holder to Billings, 1 run, fine effort by Thomas at fine leg but he's put down another catch. Billings had got a top-edge on his pull and Oshane in the deep goes for the catch with his left hand. Had the ball in his hand but spilled it as he hit the ground
David Willey, left handed bat, comes to the crease
Holder to Denly, out Caught by Pooran!! Denly perishes in his attempt to finish things off quickly. Plays a good enough pull but finds Pooran at deep mid-wicket waiting for this. Good knock by the all-rounder, nevertheless. Denly c Pooran b Holder 30(29) [4s-4]
Holder to Denly, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Holder to Denly, no run, back of a length on leg, Denly looks to hack across the line but gets beaten due to lack of bounce
Holder to Billings, 1 run, short ball around off, rears up and takes the batsman by surprise, hits the shoulder and rolls towards the keeper
