Windies would want to absolutely forget the date 8/3/2019. The double T20 World Champions take high pride in their performance in this format but today was probably their worst day ever in this ultra short version of the game. And this stupendous performance from England has ensured they won't go back trophyless when they land at the Heathrow airport. So, that's it then, join us for the third T20I on Sunday. Until then this is Varun Dixit signing off on behalf of Pradeep, Abhinand and Shashikant. Good night and take good care of yourselves.

Eoin Morgan: Extremely happy with the result. We adapted to the conditions really well. The partnership from Root and Billings was outstanding and from there we grabbed the momentum. I still think, we have to keep learning. We were 32/4 in this match, we lost too many wickets in the powerplay so we have to improve in this department.

Sam Billings, Man of the Match: I gave myself bit of a time and really enjoyed it. I have a strong bottom hand and I try to use that. I have a 360 degree game and it came off today. We knew 165+ was a decent score. This is a great win. Cricket is a momentum game so we would like to carry that. Lots to play for the players as the World Cup is not far away.

Jason Holder: It was just one of those games. It was our worst batting performace. We have had more good days than England in this series. The energy in the field was excellent. We gave away too many runs in the death overs. We didn't get any partnership at all. We have played some decent cricket in this series. We want to correct a few things going into the World Cup. I thought bowlers had a good day. I am not sure whether Nurse will be available for the final match.

18:45 Local Time, 22:45 GMT, 04:15 IST: Windies finish with the second lowest total ever in T20I's. And the lowest for a Test player nation. It has been an absolute catastrophe for them. The universe boss failed to create an impression today, and after his dismissal, we witnessed a great Caribbean collapse. From 12-0 they slipped to 23-6. And no way they could have come back in the match from that hopeless position. Chris Jordan was sensational with the ball in the middle overs, he picked up four wickets in no time and Windies had no scope to recover. Adil Rashid finished off the job and the visitors won by an emphatic margin of 137 runs and took an unassailable lead of 2-0. Time for the presentations.

Plunkett to Bishoo, out Caught by Billings!! In the air and superbly taken from Billings. He could do no wrong today and it's only apt that he puts a full-stop to this calamity for Windies. Remember, he was the one to start it with the bat. England win by an unprecedented margin of 137 runs! It was banged in on a short of length, Bishoo failed to get away from the line of the ball and he was forced to pull at it. It comes off the top-edge, it looked like landing in the no man's land. But Billings charged back, puts in a sensational dive and takes a beauty. Bishoo c Billings b Plunkett 8(20) [4s-1]

Plunkett to Bishoo, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Plunkett to Bishoo, no run, Plunkett ego was hurt on the last ball. And he pounded this one on a short of length, Bishoo did well sway away from the line of the ball and duck

4

Plunkett to Bishoo, FOUR, some joy for Windies supporters. And of all people Bishoo is providing it with the bat. It was a back of a length delivery on the body, Bishoo backs away and creams it straight down the ground for a boundary

11.2

Plunkett to Bishoo, no run, a good looking defensive shot from cover, he gets behind it nicley and eases it to cover

Adil Rashid to Obed McCoy, no run, it was down the leg-side and Obed McCoy misses it. There is a leg-slip in place and it fields it

10.5

Adil Rashid to Bishoo, 1 run, works it to mid-wicket for a single

10.4

Adil Rashid to Obed McCoy, 1 run, in the air, just short of long-off. Another slog from Obed McCoy, it comes off the outside half of the bat and pops up in the air. It was timed so badly that it failed to reach long-off too

10.3

Adil Rashid to Obed McCoy, no run, ugly hoick from Obed McCoy, he wanted to clobber Adil Rashid out of the park. But unfortunately, he isn't just good enough to do so. It turns away and Obed McCoy misses it by a long long way

10.2

Adil Rashid to Obed McCoy, no run, this one spins away, and it goes past the outside Obed McCoy

Obed McCoy, left handed bat, comes to the crease

Adil Rashid to Cottrell, out Bowled!! That's a ripper by Adil Rashid. And Cottrell has missed it by an absolute mile. It was an attempted googly, Cottrell fails to read it at all. He plays it down the wrong line, it spins in, sneaks in through his defence and clatters the stumps. Cottrell b Adil Rashid 2(4)
