That brings an end to our coverage of the first T20I of this 5-match T20I series. West Indies have gotten off to a great start, but England will be looking forward to bounce in the next encounter. We'll see you soon. For now, it's goodbye from our side. Take care!

Kieron Pollard | West Indies captain: Really happy for the boys in the dressing room, really happy with the young guys. Jason Holder knows how to bowl here, it's his ground. It was a great show from the bowlers today. The batters know the importance of coming in and sticking around. The players are getting opportunities gradually, so appreciate these guys and their efforts. Akeal Hosein did well against Pakistan, and he comes in with that confidence. Pooran finished the game well, because he usually goes hard. In less than 24 hours, we have to come back and do it again. Tough times don't last, but tough people do. I always try to give my 100 percent.

Eoin Morgan | England captain: West Indies dominated the game early on, we lost a lot of early wickets. We have to come back stronger in the next game with fresh plans. The thing we found here is that the bounce wasn't consistent. But hopefully we come back stronger. That's the nature of international cricket as you get exposed. But there is light at the end of the tunnel, so you need to cheer up. We always get great support in the West Indies, we have a lot of fans here.

Jason Holder | Man of the Match: Feels good to perform for the team, really happy with my performance. Good to bounce back after that series against Ireland. Consistency is the key for us, hopefully we keep performing in the same way. We got a hectic schedule this year, so we got to manage ourselves.

18:58 Local Time, 22:58 GMT, 04:28 IST: A comfortable victory for West Indies who have won the first T20I of the series by 9 wickets and started their campaign on an auspicious note. Electing to bowl first, the Windies bowlers got them off to a great start, having reduced the opposition to 49/7. However, Jordan and Rashid had a pivotal stand for the 8th wicket and helped the visitors post a respectable total of 103. For the Windies, Holder bowled a superb spell as he claimed four wickets. And in reply, their openers got the hosts off to a really good start. Hope departed in the 10th over, however, King and Pooran had a fine partnership to get West Indies over the line. King notched up his second half-century in the process, and it was a calm and composed knock by the opener. Stay tuned for the presentations..
