Right then, England have gotten back to winning ways. They needed this. Their skipper needed this. England were down on confidence but this win surely would have boosted their confidence. Buttler got runs and that is an added bonus for the team as well. England would be firm favourites going into the final ODI but trust the mercurial Windies team to bounce back as well. We will bounce off as well. This is Kumar Abhisekh Das on behalf of Raju Peethala and Siva saying ta ta ta!
Jos Buttler: I have been searching for some runs. Being there till the end, helps. Really pleasing. Have been playing for a while. Pleasing to get to the milestones. Was frustrating earlier. Sam is a brilliant character. Never shies away from a challenge. Having then 20 odd for 4 helped. Must win game today and we put in a brilliant performance.
Shai Hope: We didn't start well. We put ourselves under some pressure. Sherfane played well. We weren't smart enough and we didn't finish well. Sherfane has matured a lot as a batter. We hope to get more consistent performances from him. We know we can turn to him to pick up a few wickets for us. Was challenging for the spinners. Never easy under the lights here. There was a bit of dew. There was belief for the spinners. They did well. We have to win the game to win the series. Need to be ready.
Sam Curran, Player of the Match: Really pleased. Tough day the other day. Need to keep trying to bounce back. So, really pleased. There was quite a big breeze. Tried to change the angle. Jacks, Brooks and Jos finished it really well. I think we did so many things right in the first game as well. We bowled really well today. We batted well on a tricky surface today as well.
19:10 Local Time, 23:10 GMT, 04:40 IST: England have managed to level the series 1-1. Buttler and Brook with their 90-run partnership ensured it was an early finish after Jacks had set up the chase with a blistering knock at the top of the order. Windies seemed to have created a little window when they nipped out Jacks with 87 still needed to win. Buttler came in, played a few balls and then batted as if he was never out of form. He batted really well to ensure it was smooth sailing after that and also managed to notch up a fifty. Windies earlier faced a collapse at the top and at the end to come up with only 202 in less than 40 overs. They never had enough runs to play with and the English openers came out all guns blazing, Salt and Jacks added 50 in less than 6 overs. And there was no stopping them post the quick start. Hang around for the presentations. Curran has to be the Player of the Match for his top spell at the start of the game.
