That is it from a terrific series. England started off with a loss on the tour and have ended this ODI series with a loss. Buttler and his boys need more time it seems as they have rejigged the side post the WC debacle. Windies didn't qualify for the WC but are slowly but steadily building a more than decent ODI side. Little more consistency on the field can do wonders for them. The T20Is await us now. And given it is the year of the T20I WC and that too in the Windies, the five T20Is will see some fierce action. We will be there to detail it out to you peeps. For now, it is ta ta ta!

Shai Hope, Player of the Series: We got the win, that's what we wanted. Till my runs are contributing to the win, I am happy. I don't think much. I stick to the basics. I try to play the situation. I am setting a decent example for my team. Great to see the batters chipping in with good performances. Too much of history in cricket. Hard to keep up with them. I remember making my debut here. It is always an amazing feeling. Forde has a bright future. Any chance to play for the Windies is a massive proud feeling.

Jos Buttler: We were few short with the bat. Good partnership between Duckett and Livingstone to get us to a good score. The breaks in concentration didn't help. We made some mistakes with the bat. The ball got wet. Was a good effort from the guys. Jacks with his spell got us back into the game. Start of a long journey for these bunch of guys. Looking forward to a change of format against a very good side.

Matthew Forde, Player of the Match: There was a lot of work behind the scenes. Winning the series on my debut is a dream come true. Always special for me. I am 21 and living my dream. Thank all the guys for helping me. I missed two games. It was heartwarming to play here. My mum is here. My dad is here. The wicket was a little tacky. I tried to be consistent. The team required it as well. Batted with Shepherd, I knew how strong he is. I tried to get him on strike and he won it for us.

Buttler and his men didn't bat well and the pacers also didn't bowl that well. Had it not been for Jacks who came up with a three-fer, England would have lost far more easily than what they did towards the end. Their batting also didn't set the stage on fire as the ball moved around a little for Forde at the start of the game. Those wickets with the new ball put a lot of pressure on the England batters.

22:12 Local Time, 02:12 GMT, 07:42 IST: West Indies have pulled off a good win here. They had the game in control for most periods of time and in the end have managed to win it. During the chase, it seemed Athanaze and Carty would win it for them with elan. But then there was a collapse as Jacks ran riot with a three-fer. But it was Shepherd who played a superb knock to win it for his team. Even Forde at the other end showed calmness to ensure Windies got home. Earlier, the rain interruptions didn't help the game. It was a late start and the game got reduced to 43 overs a side contest. A spell of rain during the England innings reduced it to 40 overs per side. Then another spell of rainfall ahead of the chase meant it was 34 overs for Windies to track down to 188. England would be gutted as they really had a good chance but that over from Atkinson which went for 24 didn't help their case at all.

Livingstone to Shepherd, FOUR, looks to sweep, gets an inside edge on the sweep and the ball goes fine past short fine for a four. West Indies script a famous win and take a bilateral series at home against England after 25 years

31.3

Livingstone to Shepherd, no run, flatter, Shepherd pats it down into the off-side

31.3

Livingstone to Shepherd, 5 wides, slips it down leg, Shepherd misses the sweep and the keeper misses it as well. Five wides and the scores are level

31.2

Livingstone to Shepherd, 2 runs, waits on it and chops the ball down behind square on the off-side. They come back for a couple. Six needed now. One more shot to finish it off for West Indies

31.1

Livingstone to Forde, 1 run, dropped short, pulled down to deep backward square for a single

Liam Livingstone [4.0-0-22-0] is back into the attack

30.6

Gus Atkinson to Shepherd, FOUR, straight down the ground for a four! 24 runs off the over. Only 9 needed now. That was fuller, outside off, Shepherd bludgeoned it down the ground for a four. Hit very powerfully by Shepherd as the ball whistled away to the fence. Gus Atkinson has just gifted the game away to the Windies now with some ordinary bowling

30.5

Gus Atkinson to Forde, 3 runs, length delivery, Forde pulls it down past mid-wicket. The man at deep square did well to cover a lot of ground, dive and stop one for his team. Forde and Shepherd had to scamper back for a triple

30.4

4

Gus Atkinson to Forde, FOUR, short of length delivery, angling in, the batter looks to pull and edges it fine. The man at long leg had no chance. 16 needed off 20 balls now

30.3

Gus Atkinson to Shepherd, 1 run, nails the yorker this time outside off and has been dug out into the off-side for a single. Has been a terrible over from Gus Atkinson so far. 20 needed off 21 balls. The rate has come down below 6 per over now. Two bad balls and the game has turned on its head again

30.2

6

Gus Atkinson to Shepherd, SIX, this is poor bowling. Another full toss, Shepherd gets hold of it and pulls it over deep backward square. Huge hit indeed. That looked very high

30.1

6

Gus Atkinson to Shepherd, SIX, and a sixer to start the over! High full toss on the pads, Shepherd whipped it and the man at deep mid got himself into a strangle at the fence with the cushion and the ball went over the ropes. Vital blow. 27 needed now

Gus Atkinson [5.0-0-34-2] is back into the attack

Livingstone can bowl a couple but I don't think we will see anymore spin. Atkinson has been brought back.
