Remember the 58-all-out in 2011 when the Bangladeshi fans stoned the West Indian bus as it went onto the streets? Yea, they've clearly come a long way since then, both the team and their fans. West Indies clearly have a lot on their plate, with the manner of their win against Pakistan still messing around with their heads as they refuse to not bowl short. Anyway, it's all we have for you from here, and this is Vineet Anantharaman signing off on behalf of Raju Peethala, Akshay Maanay, Rishi Roy, Hari Sadanandan, Kumar Abhisekh Das and our scorer Praveen. Until more of Manchester tomorrow and with lesser of the Indo-Pak madness, ta ta!!

Mashrafe Mortaza | Winning skipper: As I said yesterday, we still have a chance to go but we need to win all the matches. My knees were hurting a bit, but we have enough bowlers to bowl in the death so it's not much of a worry. I think the turning point was the two wickets that Mustafizur got, Russell getting out in the first over. Shakib has delivered for the team in this World Cup. Hopefully he will keep going and the rest of the boys will join him. Mushy was outstanding in the first two games, Tamim was excellent today and Soumya got a good start as well. Liton has normally batted at in the top three and it was a tough ask for him to bat at number five, but he did the job.

Jason Holder | Losing skipper: Think its a bit of both (bating and bowling). We were around 40-50 runs short, the wicket played well the entire day just that we didn't get enough runs. Having said that, we could have been a lot more disciplined with the ball and we let ourselves down in the field as well. Would have been a little challenging in the first ten overs after losing the toss and being asked to bat. Having said that, we got through the first 10 overs reasonably well. We were in a situation where we just didn't get the momentum as we probably should in the middle-overs with the bat and we had too much to do in the back-end. As I said before if you score 320 here, you gotta fight really hard in the field to defend it. We didn't get wickets, and also we let one or two chances slip. We tried to hit the top of the stumps but didn't do it consistently. There is no excuse, we should have been a lot more disciplined. We have got other games to play and from hereon everything is virtually a final for us and we have to be more clinical.

Shakib Al Hasan | Man of the Match: It feels great. To stay at the wicket till the end was the most satisfying thing. I have been working on batting for the last one and a half months, and it has paid off. At the end of the first innings, we believed that if we bat well we can win. It was a reasonable total posted by the West Indies. Not sure why I backed myself for the No. 3 spot (laughs), but I thought if I batted at 3 I will get more opportunities and more time in the middle. If I bat at 5, I will get in at the 30th over or something, and that's not ideal for me honestly. Mehidy contributed with the ball. I have contributed with the ball too, but I think I can get better than this. We have to bring our A-game against Australia at the top of their form. I hope the fans will keep supporting us, and they have been magnificent throughout the World Cup.

18:19 Local Time, 17:19 GMT, 22:49 IST: The West Indians clearly have taken all the time in the world to bowl through their overs, but alas, in their case, time is in no way proportional to sense. They've been all over the place with their lengths, their lines and their plans. Their overt fascination for an overdose of bouncers - a hangover from their Pakistan game they've still not gotten over - did them no good. And Bangladesh were more than happy to feast on it. 322 on a pitch as true as this and on a ground with a reputation as that of Taunton was clearly not going to be threatening in the chase, but Shakib, who's already owning this tournament killed any contest that was to be. The openers started off well with both Sarkar and Tamim having a blazing start, but even when two quick wickets fell at one stage, Liton joined forces with Shakib and upped the ante further. And the already loud Bangladeshi supporters have hit a new high with their decibels this evening -- and they had good reason to (not that they need one), Bangladesh have recorded their highest ever chase and equalled World Cup's second highest ever chase, EVER. Stay on, the presentations are lined up ..

41.3

4

Gabriel to Liton Das, FOUR, another stray bouncer. And justly, it will end with a pull into fine leg, and even more justly with the fielder out there losing sight of the ball and running the other way. Yea, it's been that kind of a mauling

41.2

Gabriel to Liton Das, no run, back of a length and angling in. Liton gets greedy, trying to walk inside and pull it away. And the greed will make him miss

Harsha Bhogle: This is one of the most powerful batting performances I have seen from Bangladesh. And I have been watching them for a while.

41.1

Gabriel to Liton Das, 2 runs, slow dipping yorker on the feet, flicked away calmly behind square

Wanted: 6 runs. One ball?

40.6

Holder to Liton Das, 1 run, up on his toes, riding the bounce as he runs it down to third man

40.5

Holder to Liton Das, no run, hurried up on the pull, but the glove will go out into square leg. Nah, not single worthy

40.4

4

Holder to Liton Das, FOUR, it's short, obviously. It's wide, obviously. Liton is bored cutting and steering, so he'll stab, without even bothering to keep it down as he gets it over and behind point

40.3

Holder to Shakib, 1 run, back of a length. Shakib has a swivelling swat in front of square

40.2

Holder to Liton Das, 1 run, presses forward, holding up nice high elbows to punch it down the ground

40.1

4

Holder to Liton Das, FOUR, 128kph of an overcook. Liton continues his hurry, stroking it delightfully and breaching the gap angles in the covers perfectly
