A few days back, after that six-fest against Afghanistan when all was well and good, Moeen Ali spoke of the need to have a good time. Have a good laugh all the way through. It's easy to do that when you're winning. But now England are left fighting the jitters that've descended on their campaign. This is the tournament they've invested four years worth of planning into. No one's laughing now. That's all we've got for today. This is Sagar Chawla signing off on behalf of Akshay Maanay, Pradeep Krishnamurthy, Abhinand Raghavendran, Varun Dixit and our scorer Shashikant Singh. Cheers!
Some more from Finch: Very happy. Can't win the tournament if you don't make the semis so that is a first part ticked off which is a nice feeling. Have played some good cricket so far, touch wood, we will keep going in the same direction. England are a standout side. They can take you apart with the ball and with the bat. Stokesy when he gets in can be brutal on an attack. It was nice that we keep finding ways to take wickets. Behrendorff bowled beautifully. Was still a toss-up with Pat Cummins doing well with the new ball too. But when you've got a guy who can swing the ball back into a couple of right-handers early on, you use his best asset. And he didn't disappoint today. He was outstanding. Nathan Lyon was brilliant today, he didn't get the rewards but he was outstanding. People are saying it's not the Warner of old, comes out bashes and thrashes, but I think there has been some wickets in this tournament where bowling demands a bit more respect. We try to sum up the conditions quickly. Today, he was very close to his best, he was disappointed when he got out. He was starting to get on top but that happens in One Day cricket. We're confident with what we've got. We have won five World Cups in our history so there's plenty to suggest that the way to go about it is the right way to do it. Don't think any method works every single day. It just give us the chance to play our best cricket consistently and that is what we are asking for.
Eoin Morgan, England captain: A lot of today, we were outplayed. Thought we bowled well upfront. Little bit unlucky as Australia played and missed a lot. They built a fantastic partnership. Wicket got a little bit better, but still challenging. Wicket this morning was soft when we started. Choosing to bat would've been a horrific decision. Finch played really well, capitalized on the start he got. We pegged it back really well. For a long time it looked like they'd get 330. When you're 20/3, it pegs you back substantially. Given the circumstances, it's not hugely disappointing. Our fate is in our own hands. Everything we need to turn around is simple. Won't search for anything that's not there.
Aaron Finch, Man of the Match: Didn't play too badly, anytime you contribute to a team win is special. I think that is the most important thing. Nice to get a hundred in a win. Wicket was seaming around a bit initially, Woaksey bowled a hell of a spell upfront, he bowled 7 overs in a row, we were hoping that he will quit after 5 but he kept coming. Laid a reasonable foundation with Davey (Warner). Bit more confidence when you walk out and you know you have done well against an opposition. It was nipping around, it was seaming. I think we played quite well. We were as tight as we could be and tried to cash in on the width.
Harsha Bhogle: Overwhelming favourites, now gasping to stay alive in a World Cup so many thought was theirs to own.

18:04 Local Time, 17:04 GMT, 22:34 IST: Back to back defeats for England. The atmosphere at Lord's, which has gone very quiet, tells a story in itself. Their World Cup dreams aren't up in smoke just yet, but they're certainly approaching panic stations, needing at least a win (in all likelihood) in the remaining two matches, against teams that are still unbeaten in the tournament. What's increasingly worrying is that twice in two chases, their chances have hinged on Ben Stokes playing out of his skin to carry them single-handedly. So much for a batting unit that's supposed to frighten oppositions at the sight of it. To be fair though, Australia were world class with the new ball in helpful conditions, which England's seamers didn't exploit as effectively. Stokes got them close against Sri Lanka. And was hinting at something special again today before Mitchell Starc probably whipped out the ball of the tournament. It's kept the World Cup breathing that's for sure. Presentations coming up.
Starc to Adil Rashid, out Caught by Stoinis!! That's the end of that. Australia seal their place in the semis. Full ball at the stumps from Starc, Rashid aims off-side again, only to slice it off the outside half. Can't clear extra cover where Stoinis's reverse-cup is waiting. Adil Rashid c Stoinis b Starc 25(20) [4s-3 6s-1]
Starc to Adil Rashid, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Starc to Adil Rashid, no run, back of a length, probably a slower ball. Rashid misses with his attempted dab
Starc to Adil Rashid, FOUR, now he carves this through extra cover while moving towards the leg-side. Desperate dive in the deep to no avail
Starc to Adil Rashid, FOUR, top-edged over the keeper. Big grin on Starc's face. Banged it in short, Rashid swung hard on the pull and got lucky

Behrendorff to Mark Wood, no run, steered wide of backward point. They don't take the run
Behrendorff to Adil Rashid, leg byes, 1 run, slower ball on leg, deflects off Rashid's pad into the on-side. Behrendorff gets to it and tries a back-flick at the stumps, but is miles off target. Would've been touch and go with the run-out had he hit
Behrendorff to Mark Wood, 1 run, yorker length on off, slower ball, sliced wide of point
Mark Wood, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Behrendorff to Jofra Archer, out Caught by Warner!! Behrendorff comes into the team and has a five-for straightaway. Isn't he pleased! Claps his hands repeatedly before getting hold of the ball to flaunt it around. Slower ball in the slot around off, Archer's got nothing to achieve by hanging around so he gives it a tonk. Straight to long-off. Jofra Archer c Warner b Behrendorff 1(4)
Behrendorff to Jofra Archer, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Kishor: At the start of 2019, who would have thought Australia'd be the first team to qualify for the semifinal!
Behrendorff to Jofra Archer, no run, length ball outside off, Archer swings and misses. The angle causing his undoing
Behrendorff to Adil Rashid, 1 run, back of a length around the waist, heaves it to deep midwicket
