A gut-wrenching loss for Zimbabwe, they'd played such good cricket throughout the tournament but they faltered just when it mattered in these last two games. It won't feel good going out of the tournament in this manner. Scotland though deserve all the credit in the world, they showed up when the stakes were as high as they could be. By winning this game, they've not only kept themselves alive but they've also given the Netherlands an opportunity to make it to the World Cup. The next game between Scotland and the Netherlands will effectively be a playoff game that determines who'll take the trip to India. An exhilarating game that ends in heartbreak for one side and elation for the other. We'll take your leave now and take a moment to process this game. Thanks for joining us and goodbye!

Richie Berrington | Scotland captain: Credit to the way the lads played today, was our best performance. The way we came out and showed faith in the 2nd innings and get those early wickets was fantastic. Really proud of the boys. Our bowlers have been fantastic all tournament. Really pleased for Sole to get the Player of the Match today. We knew there were going to be tough games and come to a stage where we would be in a must-win game. We did well today but it's a quick turnaround to the game against the Netherlands. We'll take a lot of confidence but it's going to be a tough game. We take a lot of pride in playing for Scotland. Support from back home has been fantastic, it makes a big difference. There's a lot of unity in this group, hopefully we can kick on from here and make it through.

Craig Ervine | Zimbabwe captain: I thought we did well to restrict them to 230. But that first spell from Sole put us in a difficult position and we could not recover. We have played some good cricket through the tournament but fell short today. We had done really well and had we finished better (with the ball) then we would have been chasing 210. Everybody is gutted, it is always nice to put the demons from 2018 behind us and had we won today, nobody would have been asking about that but unfortunately we didn't. I am extremely proud of the way boys have played right through the tournament, Williams has been fantastic and we can take a lot of positives away. We are really thankful for the crowd that has come and supported us, cricket has changed in the last year or so and that is because of the way we are playing. We are playing an exciting brand of cricket and that is the reason the crowd are coming out to support us.

Chris Sole | Player of the Match: Thanks. The best advice I have been given is bowl as quick as you can. We thought we were in the game as batting in the middle was not easy, we needed early wickets and I was happy to contribute. I won't go that far ahead (thinking about the WC in India), we have another important match to go and look forward to that game. It was a fantastic atmosphere to play and the crowd made it enjoyable to play cricket.

When it came to the chase, Zimbabwe got off to a terrible start, they lost 4 wickets inside the powerplay with Chris Sole doing majority of the damage. They were in an absolute hole at 37-4 and things got even more grim when they lost Raza in the 18th over with just 91 on the board. Ryan Burl, however, kept Zimbabwe in the game and strung together a partnership with Wesley Madhevere. It looked like they were cruising before Scotland struck back again with a couple of wickets. A lot then fell on the shoulders of Burl who had already made his way to a fifty. Unfortunately for Zimbabwe, struggling with a niggle and running out of partners, Burl was left with no choice but to go after the bowling and it eventually led to his downfall. The final pair had too much work to do and it was only a matter of time before Scotland nipped the final wicket out to claim victory.

16:11 Local Time, 14:11 GMT, 19:41 IST: A famous win for Scotland, they've not only beaten Zimbabwe but they've also eliminated them from contention for a spot at the World Cup. What a game of cricket we had! At the halfway mark, with just 235 to chase, it looked like Zimbabwe would win and make it through for all money but as it transpired, no one could've quite imagined the way this game would unfold. After bossing the majority of the 1st innings having elected to bowl first, Zimbabwe first let things slip at the death - a stage that they'd been so good in throughout the tournament. A late surge from Leask and Watt meant that Scotland mustered 54 runs off the last 5 overs to scrape together 234-8, a total that was considered slightly below-par. As it turned out, those runs were worth their weight in gold.

Safyaan Sharif to Chatara, out Bowled!! That's it! That's all there is! Scotland win and it's heartbreak for Zimbabwe! Length delivery on off-stump, Chatara wasn't sure whether to go forward or back and was rooted to his crease as he presented his bat. It nipped in just a touch to beat the blade and nick the top of off-stump. The Zimbabweans are absolutely distraught, they've been knocked out of the competition. Scotland now have a chance to take a trip to India! Chatara b Safyaan Sharif 2(14)

Safyaan Sharif to Chatara, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!

If they're sensible enough, these two can definitely take Zimbabwe home, Scotland aren't quite out of the woods just yet

Safyaan Sharif to Chatara, leg byes, 2 runs, Another nice yorker that's fired straight into middle-leg, Chatara cleared his front-leg looking to block it but it went straight past the inside edge before smashing into his back pad. There was a loud appeal but the umpire remained unmoved. Sharif signalled to his captain to take the review straightaway but as it turns out, the umpire was spot on! Hawkeye shows it was sliding down leg

Huge appeal for leg before has been turned down and Scotland review!
