At least it was good to see Bangladesh fight with the ball and make South Africa work for their runs. That's it from this contest. It's a brilliant pitch to bowl first as the seamers are getting help. Will it swing like it did in the second game too. Surely both Pakistan and Namibia would want to bowl first. The powerplay batting could be tricky in the first innings. It's almost toss time there. See you all in a bit!
Temba Bavuma: Ya it was a good day for us. Obviously the conditions were good for the pacers. Good effort with the ball, then clinical with the bat I would say. Excites us to have KG and Nortje bowling in such conditions, reminds us of playing at home. Blessed to have both of them in our side. One guy is touching 150, the other guy has all the skills and bowls high-speeds too. We wanted to get the score in a good time. It was tricky because it was still nipping around when I went in. Big game. England... we need to play our best cricket. They have had the better of us of late. We would like to make amends.
Mahmudullah: I think the wicket was pretty good to bowl first up. We didn't apply ourselves, poor batting display from us. Taskin has been bowling really well. That's why thought of one between Taskin and Fizzy. We went ahead with Taskin because he has been bowling well. Obviously frustrated, but we were close to winning two games. Could have been a different story had we won those games.
Kagiso Rabada | Player of the Match: The wicket obviously favoured the seamers and I am just glad that today was my day. Every time we had the opportunity to practice, we try and implement whatever could work for us. We always train hard and today it paid off. It's nice to see some swing again especially in the T20 format. But having played a few IPL games here, we have seen quite a bit of movement especially with the new ball. It wasn't a surprise that this wicket did that because it's been doing that at times for quite a period. We have played one game in Dubai, but from what I understand, definitely it looks like there's a bit of bounce here. Some balls skid through, it's a bit two-paced and there's some good pace, some balls just take off. To me it seems like it's the quickest. He (Nortje) has been in form for a long time now. He's just riding the wave and I am so happy for him. He works extremely hard and his hard work is paying off. It's great to be bowling with him.
Stat: Tenth win in last 11 T20Is for South Africa
It was strange to see South Africa not look to finish this earlier. Quinny tried to get some form back by spending time in the middle, but was out to off-spin for the umpteenth time. RVD never looked comfortable until the very end. Taskin was on fire with some help from the pitch. He got the ball to cut back in sharply and he did get Hendricks and Markram. It was Bavuma who played positive cricket to get the runs flowing. They could have bettered their NRR further, but they have got that to +0.742 - the only other team in the positives in Group 1
17:01 Local Time, 13:01 GMT, 18:31 IST: So Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are officially out of the World Cup. The biggest disappointment for the Bangladeshi fans would be the lack of intent with the bat today. Bangladesh weren't Bangladesh to be honest. Naim and Liton hardly pressed the accelerator and KG Radaba had lovely seamer-friendly conditions to get his back. Was on a hat-trick at one-point and then the brute of Nortje was tough to handle for Bangladesh. Pace, bounce - batters were hopping and fending. Liton was glued to one end and they did have the potential to stretch this to 110 at least but they threw it away.
Mahedi Hasan to Miller, FOUR, slogged away past mid-wicket and South Africa make it three wins in a row. They have put themselves in a wonderful position to advance to the semifinals. Mahedi Hasan fired this in full, Miller swung hard and got it past the infield
Mahedi Hasan to Bavuma, 1 run, spinnng down leg, clipped through backward square leg
Mahedi Hasan to Miller, 1 run, spinning away outside off stump, Miller drives it to long-off
Mahedi Hasan [2.0-0-13-1] is back into the attack
David Miller, left handed bat, comes to the crease

Nasum Ahmed to van der Dussen, out Caught by Shoriful Islam!! RVD was looking to finish the game with a six to boost that NRR, but he didn't get close to the pitch of this flighted delivery after stepping out. The ball took the bottom of the bat, brilliant catch running back from mid-on. The fielder kept his eyes on the ball and timed the dive to stretch-dive to perfection. Fielder's wicket that. Almost close to that Moeen grab off Lewis. van der Dussen c Shoriful Islam b Nasum Ahmed 22(27) [4s-2]
Nasum Ahmed to van der Dussen, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Nasum Ahmed to van der Dussen, FOUR, and RVD gets the boundary too. Steps out launches across the line over wide mid-on. one bounce and into the fence
Nasum Ahmed to Bavuma, 1 run, on the leg stump, Bavuma digs it out to mid-on
Nasum Ahmed to Bavuma, FOUR, played that late and the uppish late cut flies away past slip and backward point had no chance. Bangladesh don't have a third man either. Nasum Ahmed bowled the slider and Bavuma used the pace on the ball
Nasum Ahmed to Bavuma, no run, spinning away outside off stump. Nasum Ahmed bold to toss it up and ask Bavuma to go over the top, batter couldn't get under the ball so pushed it softly to the fielder
Nasum Ahmed to Bavuma, wide, fired down leg
Nasum Ahmed to van der Dussen, 3 runs, use of the feet from RVD, takes this on the full and flicks it wide of mid-on. Fielder gives chase and stops it just inside the boundary. Enough time to get the third
