T20 is a crazy format. Momentum is the key, as they say. And when that combines with the little luck that you need, sky is the limit. Not so long ago, this Indian team was the verge of a premature exit with two bad losses. They could still be knocked out if the Kiwis win their next game, but the manner in which they have bounced back is exemplary to say the least. Two monstrous wins and the net run-rate is almost not a factor anymore. Momentum box has been ticked for sure. Now about the luck part, let's see if they get lucky with NZ losing. Mind you, Afghanistan can also cause a stir if they win really big and India don't manage to do the same against Namibia. But that's what luck is about, isn't it? These situations are too tricky to predict. If you're an Indian supporter, you should be proud that the team is still in there and fighting it out in style. Today's game was indeed the perfect Diwali gift for all Indians. As a contest, it was one-sided though. Let's hope we get more competitive games tomorrow. On that note, this is Hari Sadanandan signing off on behalf of MS Ramakrishnan, Sagar Chawla, Abhinand Raghavendran and Siva. Cheers!
Virat Kohli: A dominating performance, something that we were striving to do again. Now it will be interesting to see what happens on 7th (November). Don't want to say a lot about today's performance, we know what we can do. Also tells you how important the toss can be at this venue. We wanted to get them under 110-120 max, that was the mindset we went in with. The bowlers were excellent, and then KL and Rohit did really well. We spoke about the 8-10 over bracket before the start, didn't want to really go too hard because if you lose wickets, then an extra 20 balls could cost. We thought that if they play naturally, runs will come quickly. If you look at our practice games, we have been actually batting like this only. Just a couple of aberrations happened, where we just couldn't got those two successive good overs. Teams bowled well too, and created pressure on us. But we were just two overs of good batting. Jadeja bowled really well, also Shami was quite good. My family is here - that is enough (birthday) celebration for me.
Kyle Coetzer: We were outclassed in every department. The only way we're going to improve is by getting games like this. Boys are still going to take something out of this. Mark has been excellent for us all tournament. He has a great set of skills, he has learnt a lot from other spinners too. That's another important reason for us to be in this tournament. He (Leask) is a fantastic striker of the cricket ball, lovely to watch.
Ravindra Jadeja | Player of the Match: I was enjoying bowling on this track today. The odd ball was turning, I was enjoying very much. The first one (Berrington's wicket) was a special one, whenever you get a batsman out with a turning ball, that's always special. We were looking to play good brand of cricket. Everybody knows that we had to win with a big margin for us to up our net run-rate, we were looking to play our best game and give our 100% on the field. Everybody's happy, one more game to go, hopefully we play like this. If we play like this, nobody can beat us. In T20 format, we have to play like this, that is for sure.

20:18 Local Time, 16:18 GMT, 21:48 IST: Quite the comeback this from India. It may still not be enough if New Zealand beat Afghanistan, but Kohli's men are definitely doing whatever they can to qualify. The bowlers, led by Jadeja, had all but set it up for that nitro-boost in the net run rate, and the openers ensured that the efforts weren't in vain. They went absolute nuts, tearing the bowling apart with some soothing, sublime strokeplay. India needed to get the win inside 7.1 overs to go past Afghanistan's net run rate, they nearly did it in the powerplay itself. So, that's the big news for now, India's net run rate is above Afghanistan and obviously, New Zealand. Going to be more number-crunching in the coming days, that's for sure. Fow now, it's time to believe if you're an Indian supporter. Scotland will feel disappointed, wasn't the easiest of pitches in the first half, but wasn't an 85 all-out track either.
Chris Greaves to Suryakumar Yadav, SIX, back-to-back massive wins for India! Yadav finishes things in style, too full and he is a destroyer of spin bowling anyway, didn't need a second invitation. Went straight with the loft and cleared the ropes with ease
Chris Greaves to Suryakumar Yadav, no run, flatter and outside off, extra bounce, SKY fails to connect the cut
Chris Greaves to Kohli, 1 run, fastish leg-break on leg stump, Kohli mistimes the pull behind square leg
Chris Greaves, right-arm leg break, comes into the attack
Suryakumar Yadav, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Mark Watt to Rahul, out Caught by MacLeod!! Wants to end it in style but can't! Probably a lot slower than Watt's usual pace, Rahul is a fraction early into the loft and gets more height than distance on this one. Mid-on trekked back and got under the skier rather easily. What a knock this was from Rahul though! When carnage met artistry! Rahul c MacLeod b Mark Watt 50(19) [4s-6 6s-3]
Mark Watt to Rahul, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Mark Watt to Kohli, 1 run, quicker one on leg stump, nudged past mid-wicket
Birthday boy on strike. Can do this in one blow. Don't think he would though.
