Gee, this World Cup is already exciting. That's a wrap from us. Ireland and Zimbabwe are ready to lock horns very shortly. Hop tabs to get the latest. See you soon!

Berrington: It's a special win for us. Lot of hard work has been put in for this in the last one year. Extremely proud of the boys. We haven't had as much as T20 cricket as we would have liked (Scotland played only 2 T20Is between World Cups). But we played a lot of 50 over cricket, so it was important we transferred that skill to T20 cricket. We were looking at a few more after the start we got off to. But we knew this was a competitive score. The bowlers were exceptional. Mark Watt was exceptional, in the powerplay and he generally takes big wickets. Leask today was excellent four overs on the trot.

Pooran: Tough loss for us. Disappointing for sure. I guess now we got to do the hardwork now and win both the games. 160 was a par score. The middle-order batting was disappointing. We have been struggling in the middle order for some time and it continues. Definitely not acceptable (asked about the batting against Scotland's spinners). The ball wasn't spinning much. We got reflect and get better. Next two games are must win. I guess when you perform bad as players, you want the next game to come as quickly as possible. I don't think we were complacent. We did get off to a good start, but disappointing after the powerplay.

George Munsey | Player of the Match: It's okay (the injury), it's not great. We will see how we go tonight and try and do what we can for the rest of the week. I'm always looking to improve, thought the guys did really well. We fought like everything in the field, guys took their catches and Watty (Mark Watt) was outstanding with his figures and the way he bowled, just class. It was a real good performance. The guys took the pressure off me in the middle after that rain delay, I enjoyed the start and found it a bit trickier after the break but I always enjoyed playing here in Australia. We knew we had enough on the board to defend and that's how we went about it.

19:16 Local Time, 08:16 GMT, 13:46 IST: Scotland came so close to overpowering New Zealand in the last World Cup, now they have gone a step further to play a Test playing nation. At the halfway mark, Munsey said he backed his boys to bowl well and what an outstanding display this was from Scotland. West Indies actually began well with Mayers attacking, but Lewis and King weren't allowed to bat freely. Then Scotland put the squeeze on with Watt and Leask. Two finger spinners who ruled the game today with just clever lines and variations. West Indies played dots after dots while also losing wickets. Apart from Holder, none had the thought to take this deep like Munsey did when he was struggling and tee off later. With power-hitting till almost No. 10 this could have been an easy chase for West Indies but they chose to play poor cricket and succumbed to pressure exerted by Scotand. And the catching was so good from the winners today too. Some of them were half-chances that they converted. A brilliant day for Scotland cricket and the morning could not have started better back home.

Safyaan Sharif to Holder, out Caught by Chris Greaves!! In the airrrr, taken! Yesterday Namibia, today Scotland. What a start we have had to the World Cup. With all due respect to West Indies, for the way they played today, this can't be called an upset. Safyaan Sharif took pace off and bowled full, Holder tried to loft this over long-off, sliced it. Man at long-off ran in and dived low to take a very good catch. Holder c Chris Greaves b Safyaan Sharif 38(33) [4s-4 6s-1]

Safyaan Sharif to Holder, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Mark Watt to Obed McCoy, no run, darted from round the wicket, McCoy defends

16.5

Mark Watt to Holder, 1 run, oh ho ho! What a ball to finish a fantastic spell, ah still a ball left. So Mark Watt was all about firing them flat and full, so Holder was ready for something like that. Smartly he floats one high and deceives a set Holder, luckily for the batter the chip to cover is safe because there is no one in the circle
