That brings an end to our coverage of this game between New Zealand and Uganda folks! It was a completely one-sided match as the Blackcaps came out on top with flying colors. NZ will face PNG in their last game of the tournament after a couple of days and you can expect another such dominating performance from the Blackcaps. We'll be back later today with the live coverage of the India-Canada game. Might probably be a rain-truncated clash as a couple of games at that venue have already been washed out over the last one week. For now, it's goodbye from our side. Ciao!
Kane Williamson, NZ captain: Our guys were good. Was a tough surface. Not a lot of control of ideas and methods. That made a difference. We saw that in the previous match, it has been unique, better to play this way in this match. The teams have been getting more exposure at the highest level, helps to develop as a team. Having that exposure is always a great experience to learn from. Need to train again and play again. The same discussions all again. Have been respectful about the conditions, we'll rest and play again in a couple of days.
Brian Masaba, Uganda captain: Has been a wonderful experience to play at this level. A high performance environment in this tournament. It's done wonders for us back home, laid a platform. Have tried to interact with the players and tried to pick their brains. We have been looking forward to what happens next and helps us get better. I have to say thanks to all teams, they have been happy to share their experience, they have tried to help us wherever they can. It's been nice to see the boys in the field, the young fast bowlers have inspired guys back home. They come from a humble background, for me it has been a humbling experience. They love us here, we love them back. Very happy that WI spectators have been really receptive of our team.
Tim Southee, Player of the Match: It was a pretty clinical performance, was nice to get a win. It has been a bit tricky, just try to hit the stumps with variable bounce. Disappointed to find ourselves out of the tournament. We were outplayed in the first two games, we have a proud record in World Cups and that has now come to an end. Had a nice break heading into this World Cup. Always a dream to play for NZ, still enjoying it.

22:50 Local Time, 02:50 GMT, 08:20 IST: A comprehensive victory for New Zealand. After losing against Afghanistan and West Indies, the Kiwis have finally managed to salvage a win in this tournament. They were outfoxed in both the previous matches, but today they have bounced back to their absolute best. Electing to bowl first, Boult and Southee gave the Kiwis a perfect start as the swing kings blew away Uganda's top-order. Spinners - Santner and Rachin Ravindra got into the act soon as they bagged a couple of wickets each to bundle out Uganda to a paltry total of 40. With such a small target to chase down it was just a matter of time as the Kiwi openers came out all guns blazing. Allen was strangled down the leg-side by Riazat Ali Shah, but Conway took them over the line with nonchalance in the final over of the powerplay. A thoroughly professional performance by the Blackcaps indeed. Stay around for the presentations..
Juma Miyagi to Conway, FOUR, NZ romp home to a 9-wicket win! Short ball on leg and Conway helps it past the fielder at short fine leg with a gentle swivel. No need to run for those as NZ get over the line within the powerplay
Juma Miyagi to Conway, FOUR, NZ just a boundary away from an emphatic win. Pitched up by the bowler on off and Conway drills it through the gap at cover for a glorious boundary
