Right, time to conclude the proceedings for today. Hope you enjoyed the coverage. Lots of cricketing action going on currently. Switch tabs and have fun. Cya!

Porterfield: We were in a good position once we had Windies on the mat for 83/5, but we missed chances in the field and it costed us badly. But these things happen and we can't do much about it. We have a game against UAE on Monday, 2 points up for grabs and we are looking forward to it.

Holder: It is a really good feeling. We need to improve on a few things, we haven't been off to a really good start in the tournament with the bat. We need to try and build an innings at the top. Now that we have qualified to the Super Six, guess the pressure is off the back.

Rovman Powell, Man of the Match: To be honest, it's a big confidence booster. It means a lot going forward. This is what i wanted as a a child - playing for West Indies and score a century. The thought process when I walked out to bat was to bat till the end. I was telling myself to bat 20-25 overs. I am more pleased with rotating strikes. The West Indies players struggle to do that. Pretty pleased.

17:01 Local Time: So, Windies make it three in three and remain unbeaten in their Group A. They occupy the pole position and surge ahead to the next stage. Chasing 258, Ireland lost their skipper Porterfield for a blob. Windies further made inroads by devouring Stirling and Balbirine in quick intervals. Ireland were shaken a bit but Ed Joyce joined hands with Niall O Brien and led the chase. Once the latter was dismissed, Joyce formed an alliance with Kevin O Brien and the duo motored their way steadily before Roach's double strike dented the proceedings for Ireland. With the ever-increasing run-rate, the lower-order tried their best but Windies' bowlers finished off the things without any fuss.

Kesrick Williams to Andy McBrine, out Caught by Holder!! There's the final blow. McBrine wasn't going to hang around much. Swings blindly, doesn't time it too well and ends up hitting it straight to Holder, who completes the formalities. Windies win by 52 runs. Andy McBrine c Holder b Kesrick Williams 6(12)

Kesrick Williams to Andy McBrine, 1 run, oh, what happened there? McBrine guided it to point. The fielder has a shy at the bowler's end. Williams treks back, can't collect the throw cleanly and they end up nabbing a run off the overthrow

Kesrick Williams to Rankin, out Caught by Holder!! Second wicket in the over. Oh, Nurse almost bumped into Holder there. Slower delivery on off, Rankin slogs and it lacks timing. Hits it towards Holder at long-on, who comes forward and collects it. Rankin c Holder b Kesrick Williams 0(1)
