Phew, tense finish there at the end with so much on the line. Afghanistan can breathe easy for now but there's still so much work to do. The Super Six stage will continue tomorrow as Zimbabwe take on Ireland. Expect a good crowd. That's it for now. On behalf of Akshay Maanay, Raju Peethala and our scorer Reddy, this is Sagar Chawla saying goodbye!

Holder, Windies captain: Just a little cramp. Credit to Afghanistan, they played a better cricket game and we let ourselves down. 230 was probably par here. Let ourselves down in the fielding. We had laid a pretty good foundation, had wickets in hand and were ready to launch but it didn't come off today. Their bowlers kept things very tight. Have to regroup and come back against Zimbabwe.

Rashid, Afghanistan captain: Feeling really happy. Didn't play well in the first round. Feels nice to finish off the game today. Today the boys did their job. Bowling was really good. Restricting them under 200 is a big achievement. There were nerves in the chase because we had lost such games previously. Wanted to keep playing till the end. Anything can happen, it's cricket. We want to win all the matches and see what happens. Hope for the best.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Man of the Match: First I would like to congratulate the entire nation on this victory. I am used to bowling with the new ball, so I enjoy it. I don't have any problem with the new ball, I bowl with a new ball in the nets and it helps when I open the attack in the match. I am very happy that the entire team supports me, especially Nabi and Rashid, who give me the confidence when bowling.

16:42 Local Time, 14:42 GMT, 20:12 IST: Afghanistan live to dream another day. They would have been all but out of the World Cup if they had lost this. It wasn't easy, given how they had botched similar run-chases in the Group Stage. There must have been jitters after they lost Rahmat Shah, who was the backbone of their innings right through. But unlike against Zimbabwe, today the lower-order pulled enough weight to get them over the line. This is no mean feat to beat the Windies, who had come off four consecutive victories previously, and who are still in a strong position despite this defeat. Hang around for the presentations.

Keemo Paul to Sharafuddin Ashraf, FOUR, drills this low full toss through the covers to seal it for Afghanistan. There's the victory cry from Ashraf. Cry of victory and relief. Afghanistan are still afloat

Vijay: looks like only Holder wants to won this.. -- You can add Brathwaite too..

47.3

Keemo Paul to Sharafuddin Ashraf, 2 runs, short ball into the body, pulled away limply but effectively in front of deep backward square. They hustle back for two

Keemo Paul to Sharafuddin Ashraf, no run, full toss at the stumps, defended

47.1

Keemo Paul to Sharafuddin Ashraf, no run, goodness me, nearly floored Ashraf there with this cracking yorker. Ashraf somehow rushes his bat down to keep it out

Keemo Paul [8.0-1-23-2] is back into the attack

Holder to Naib, out Caught by Rovman Powell!! Another chance for Powell, who hangs onto it this time. Can Windies still pull it off? Pretty needless shot from Naib who tries to go for the big hit, but doesn't quite make the requisite contact and holes out at long-on. Naib c Rovman Powell b Holder 10(14) [4s-1]

Holder to Naib, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Oh dear, Carlos Brathwaite is beside himself with rage. He slaps the turf hard, so much that the sunglasses fly off his cap
