Two comprehensive wins for India and they have a 2-0 lead in the series. It looked like they were a few runs short at the innings break but their impressive new ball bowling ensured it was enough. England have some work to do against Bhuvi and Co. in the powerplay as that's twice they have lost three wickets in that period. There's not much time to ponder over things as the next T20I is tomorrow. We will be back here with all the updates. That's all for today. Until next time, goodbye and stay safe..

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Player of the Match: When the ball swings you enjoy bowling. But if I am not wrong it has not swung much in England in the past few years. Good for me (that the white ball swung more than the red ball). He (Buttler) is a dangerous player and if he goes past the powerplay, he can score big. If the ball swings it motivates you to do well and I am confident right now. I do not want to answer it and if I am playing then something is right (when asked if he's fit and free of all injuries).

Rohit Sharma | India captain: We know how good they are as a team, not just in England but everywhere they go. When you win games there is confidence in the group and it is important how the boys feel. I really wanted to see how we perform after a win and challenge us as a group. Brilliant knock under pressure. We wanted someone to bat through and get us a score, Jadeja had scored a hundred here and he carried on from there. He was calm and finished it well towards the end. We understand the importance of the powerplay; be it scoring runs or taking wickets. We look forward to another game tomorrow. We wanted to give guys sitting on the bench a chance, I will go back and speak to the coach about that. We need to keep ticking the boxes and move forward.

Jos Buttler | England captain: Very disappointing. We didn't play anywhere close to what we wanted and deserved to lose. The bowlers were excellent especially Gleeson and Jordan. Any time you lose three wickets in the powerplay it is hard to catch up. Not just the wickets but the guys he (Gleeson) got out, overall a fantastic debut. He has bowled fantastically well, CJ always bowls the pressure overs and the figures can sometimes cloud what he's doing. We don't have much time to reflect on it as the next game is tomorrow.

17:50 Local Time, 16:50 GMT, 22:20 IST: It is once again India's bowling in the powerplay that is the difference between the two teams. Bhuvneshwar set the tone for a second match running by nipping out Jason Roy off the very first ball and also added the wicket of Jos Buttler in his next over. Bumrah complemented him perfectly as the pair bowled two maidens and picked up three wickets in the first six overs. England could not recover after that and were behind the 8-ball. Moeen and Willey played a couple of cameos but they needed more from their top order. Earlier on, India's changed approach saw them slip to 89/5 but a returning Jadeja bailed them out with his career-best T20I score and the total of 170 proved to be more than enough. Hang around for the presentations..

Harshal Patel to Parkinson, out Bowled!! India win by 49 runs. They take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Handshakes all around and this victory is even better than the first one. Parkinson was given one ball to survive and he could not keep it out. Harshal gets the yorker spot on and Parkinson is beaten for pace, the ball sneaks past him before the ball could come down and crashes into the base of leg-stump. Parkinson b Harshal Patel 0(2)

Zubair: There is something genuinely special about Rohit's captaincy. Winning 13 (soon 14) matches in a row is certainly not an easy feat. He knows his game which was proved through Mo Ali's dismissal

16.5

Harshal Patel to Willey, 1 run, yorker around off, Willey squeezes it off the inside edge to short fine and they get the single. Parkinson has one ball to survive

The field is brought in to save the single

16.4

Harshal Patel to Willey, no run, nails the yorker outside off, Willey is not able to jam it out

16.3

Harshal Patel to Willey, no run, angled across the left hander, Willey premeditates the scoop and does not connect

16.2

4

Harshal Patel to Willey, FOUR, that's a poor delivery. Juicy full toss outside off, Willey stands tall and slaps it in front of square, there are two fielders in the deep on the off-side but both are mere spectators

6

Harshal Patel to Willey, SIX, Axar almost pulls off a stunning save. Full and outside off, Willey sits on the back knee and slices it to deep backward point, Axar jumps with one hand up and can't gather the ball cleanly to flick it inside the rope

Harshal Patel [3.0-0-23-0] is back into the attack

Bhuvneshwar to Richard Gleeson, out Caught by Kohli!! This is all coming apart too quicky for England. Bhuvi comes back for his second spell and picks up his third wicket. Gleeson had a good day with the ball but not with the bat. He is deceived by the slower ball and toe-ends the loft straight back over Bhuvi, Kohli runs around from mid-off and completes the catch.
