India tried a fresh opening combo and learnt a few lessons. The fielding wasn't upto their regular standards and the bowling lacked bite. They will have by now identified the areas that needs tinkering. New Zealand are so relieved and happy to have whitewashed India after the T20I drubbing. So that's that from the limited overs leg of the tour. The focus shifts to the red Kookaburra. We saw Trent Boult and Neil Wagner practicing earlier today. Two good bowling sides and it's going to be a good contest between bat and ball in whites. Can't wait for February 21. See you all on Day 1.
Kane collects the trophy and his team-mates join him for a photo.
Kane Williamson| New Zealand skipper: Outstanding performance, India put us under pressure every game of this series and today, the first half the way boys fought with the ball was brilliant. The cricket smarts was outstanding to see and it's something that the boys did well throughout the series. There are always things to learn from sides like India and it's a great start and we are just building on these performances and looking forward to ODIs with Australia later on. Like I said, an outstanding effort against a brilliant side like India. Its recovering (the shoulder) well which is a good thing and I just want to make a special mention to Hindo, obviously a fan and friend of the team and member of the Sky cricket team and just want him to know that all (the team) are thinking about him.
Kohli | India captain: The games were not as bad as the scoreline suggests. Batsmen coming back from tough situations was a positive sign for us, but the way we fielded and bowled, the composure wasn't enough to win games. Didn't deserve to be on the winning side at all this series. Haven't played so badly, but we didn't grab opportunities. It was a good experience for the new guys who came in. They are still finding their feet. They (New Zealand) played with lot more intensity than we did. They deservedly won 3-0. We are excited for the Test series. We now have a balanced team. We feel we can win the series, but we need to step out on the park with the right kind of mindset.
Ross Taylor is the Player of the Series for amassing 194 runs in the three innings and being dismissed only once.
Henry Nicholls | Player of the Match: To come out here and make it 3-0, which is something we wanted to achieve before the start of the series, but I guess heading into today knowing that again it's a chance for us to put up a good performance, it's nice to be standing here after a good run-chase. Nice to put up some partnerships (with Guptill) and obviously the way he played today to get us ahead in the run-chase and I think it was important heading into the back end, his experience at the top certainly helps me. He (Guptill) scores so quickly and I can just stand there, it's great to play the second fiddle and really caught up on that 100-run stand. Fortunate enough throughout the series to put up a good opening stand in all three games. Nice to reflect on this moment after beating them 3-0 and looking forward to the Test series.

22:38 Local Time, 09:38 GMT, 15:08 IST: Such a dominating series for New Zealand. They made India look clueless at times. Bumrah not being among the wickets hurt the Men in Blue. The breakthroughs just didn't come. Today Guptill was off to a flier. Never seen Bumrah being hit like that said Ian Smith on air when he smashed a six and four off successive balls. Thakur, who's known for swing, wasn't given the new ball strangely. Saini not having a good day made matters worse. Nicholls and Guptill raced to a century stand. Chahal kept India in the game with the wickets of Guptill and Williamson, but Nicholls motored along to keep the hosts on course. India came back accounting for Taylor and Nicholls in quick succession, but a calm looking Colin de Grandhomme batted bravely and got the quick runs to seal the game and the whitewash.
SN Thakur to de Grandhomme, FOUR, low full toss, flicked to deep mid-wicket. That's a whitewash for India after about 31 years - when all games were played in a series
Bumrah ends the series wicketless.
