India have found ways to get out of jail. Windies still find themselves imprisoned thanks to a few silly errors. Their free fall in ODIs still hasn't stopped. They are getting better but haven't been able to deliver at crunch moments. India have gobbled up the ODI series but there is a game to go and Windies would look to come back hard. The last game was a bitter pill to swallow for them. And today's game would have multiplied the bitterness umpteen times. But we will wish you a sweet week ahead as we wrap up our coverage. This is Kumar Abhisekh Das signing off on behalf of Nikhil Jadhav and Vinod. Ta ta ta...
Shikhar Dhawan | India captain: It was a great team performance. Boys didn't lose the self belief, that is amazing. Iyer, Sanju, Axar everyone was amazing, Even Avesh came out in his debut game and scored those 11 important runs. Thanks to IPL, they perform on a huge stage. I felt that we bowled nicely. They got off to a good start. Hope and Pooran batted well. We thought if they could do it, we knew that we could do it. We started a little slow. Shubman batted well. The Iyer-Samson partnership made a huge difference. There was a run-out. But these things happen. Boys are learning. Thanks to the support staff as well. They have been doing a tremendous job. It was a great feeling when I scored a 100 in my 100th ODI game. I would want to congratulate Hope for doing the same.
Nicholas Pooran | West Indies captain: Definitely, last couple of overs we didn't hold our nerves. Last 6 overs, we lost the game. We felt a spinner was easier to hit. We just needed one wicket to seal the game but Axar played really well. His (Hope's) 100th ODI, he was exceptional to get a hundred. We did an exceptional job with the batting group. We tried to compete really hard. We want to win really bad.
Axar Patel | Player of the Match: I think this is a special one. It came at a crucial time and also helped the team to win the series. We have done the same in the IPL. We just needed to remain calm and keep the intensity up. I was playing an ODI after close to 5 years. I would want to continue performing like this for my team.

18:22 Local Time, 22:22 GMT, 03:52 IST: India take the series 2-0 with a game to go. Axar Patel has stolen this for India. His imperious hitting towards the end did the job. Some clean hits kept India in the chase when the pressure was on and it continued till it got India over the line. Iyer and Samson revived the hopes for India after they were three down for 79. But both could only get fifties. Then Hooda joined hands with Axar only for the latter to carry the baton till the end. Avesh Khan swinging hard and getting a couple of fours also took the pressure off Axar as well. Windies need to just lift themselves up as they were so close to a win only to fall cruelly short. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
Mayers to Axar, SIX, and another shattering loss for the Windies. Axar has stolen this in daylight from the hosts. That was a low full toss outside off and Axar thumps it over long-off. He shows barely any emotions. He has been there and done that before in the IPL but even here, he always seemed to be in control
Mayers to Siraj, 1 run, round the wicket fuller ball, Siraj waits on it and steers it down to the man at point for a single. 6 needed off 3 balls. Siraj has done well to give the strike back
Mayers to Axar, 1 run, slogs a fuller delivery down to deep mid for only a single. Axar wanted a second but wasn't able to come back. 7 needed off 4 balls now. Siraj will be on strike. The pressure seems to be back on India as Mayers has nailed two good balls
Mayers to Axar, no run, fuller, wider, Axar gets an inside edge but Hope behind the sticks does well to gather that. 8 needed off 5 now
Kyle Mayers [7.0-0-40-2] is back into the attack
Mohammed Siraj, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Who bowls the final over? Mayers it is. 8 needed. What will Axar do? Will he be risking a single as both Siraj and Chahal are not known for their batting.

Jayden Seales to Avesh Khan, out Caught by Shamarh Brooks!! And Avesh Khan falls. Was a short ball, Avesh Khan pulls and finds the man at deep square. Windies still have 8 runs to play with. They will take this wicket as Avesh Khan was swinging blind and getting a few important runs. Seales decided to go short and that has paid off. Was a brave delivery but he will be happy. Avesh Khan c Shamarh Brooks b Jayden Seales 10(12) [4s-2]
Jayden Seales to Avesh Khan, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Jayden Seales to Avesh Khan, no run, slower short ball, Avesh Khan jumped the trigger too early and misses it. The ball bounces down to the keeper. Free swing for Avesh for the last ball as well
Jayden Seales to Axar, 1 run, controls the pull and gets it down to deep backward square. They get a single. 8 needed now
Jayden Seales to Avesh Khan, 1 run, swings one across the line and finds mid-on. They get a single. 9 needed now
Jayden Seales to Avesh Khan, FOUR, fuller length delivery well outside off, Avesh Khan launches into it and smashes it past cover for a four. That was a brutal blow. literally and metaphorically. 10 needed now. India will count this as a bonus. 300 up and this is the fourth score of 300 plus in this series
Jayden Seales to Axar, 1 run, whips a fuller ball away to deep square for a single. That was on the pads and Axar put it away only to find the fielder. Avesh has the strike now
