That stunning hundred in Nottingham, and now this brilliant knock today as well on a slow pitch - Suryakumar continues to show his worth in India's T20 side. Plenty others are doing the same, not least Arshdeep Singh who again closed out the innings pretty well, while Ashwin bowled a tight spell in the middle overs along with Hardik Pandya. West Indies weren't that far off though with the bat, and will hope to bounce back strongly as the series moves to Florida. We'll be back for the fourth T20I on Saturday. Until then, it's goodbye!

Rohit: It's okay at the moment. We've got a few days till the next game, hopefully it should be okay (his injury). How we bowled in the middle overs was crucial. I thought we used the conditions well. Used the variations well. Was very clinical how we chased. When you watched from the outside, didn't feel a lot of risk was taken, was a lot of calmness in the middle. Surya batted brilliantly, good partnership there with Iyer. The pitch had something in it for the bowlers, not an easy target. Was important to pick the right shots, right balls on a ground like that.

Pooran: Felt we had to get early wickets. Didn't do that. We felt like we had enough. India bowled well. Wicket was on the slower side, felt it was difficult to keep scoring on it. Would've been a different game had we got early wickets. We kept losing wickets in the middle overs. We lost the game but did a lot of right things. Felt like we were 10-15 runs short. But early wickets could've changed the game today.

Suryakumar, Player of the Match: Really happy with the way things went. Was important for someone to bat 15-17 overs after Rohit went back inside. We saw yesterday what happened in the second innings. Was important for someone to bat deep and win the game, that's what I've focussed on. Just backed myself and enjoying it.

India in run chases in T20Is since July 2019:
21 matches
19 wins
2 defeats

Stat: This is the highest successful chase in T20Is in Basseterre. Previous highest: 147 by WI vs Afg in 2017

15:32 Local Time, 19:32 GMT, 01:02 IST: 165 seemed a challenging target at the halfway stage on a slowish pitch, but India have cruised home with an over to spare. All thanks to the genius of one man. What a brilliant knock that was from Suryakumar Yadav. He got the chase off to a flier, and kicked on to showcase his range again. He batted on a different level to most others out there today. That lofted straight drive for six off a back of a length on a pitch where a lot of players struggled to time the ball said a lot about the touch he was in. And by the time he was gone, India were already at the doorstep of victory.

Holder to Hardik Pandya, out Caught by D Thomas!! Short of length delivery around off, it's an off-cutter from Holder, and Pandya has nicked it through to the keeper. He threw the kitchen sink at it looking to pull it through square leg. Couldn't get much more than a feather. Hardik Pandya c D Thomas b Holder 4(6)
