And that concludes the presentation and our coverage of this first T20I. Massive credit to the groundstaff for getting the pitch ready despite more than an hour's rain today. Ireland are trailing again, but they have a chance to even the scores come Wednesday. Join us for that one next, for now it's time to escape...

Rony Talukdar is the Player of the Match, sadly he wasn't available for a comment because of sustaining that shoulder injury late on while fielding.

Shakib Al Hasan: This is what we want. It is difficult for one or two guys to always contribute, want this kind of all-round performance. They set the pace with the way they opened and played attacking cricket. The new guys coming in are not panicking, they want to come out and perform. The way they are bowling is fantastic, we have a couple more guys who are not getting opportunities because of such performances from our pacers.

Paul Stirling: We got the better conditions today. It looked tricky at some points, but got flatter and flatter. Disappointing to still come out on the wrong side. We've struggled to pick up wickets, we were unlucky in periods and had we got wickets we could have put a squeeze on. I think we came on well in the last ten overs, or the score could have been worse.

18:28 Local Time, 12:28 GMT, 17:58 IST: Ireland huffed and puffed for a bit, but ultimately a comfortable win for Bangladesh. Paul Stirling took down Nasum Ahmed in the first over, going hell for leather from the first ball. His partner Ross Adair also scored a few boundaries, as Rahman proved expensive in his first over too. Hasan Mahmud bowled a brilliant over, picking up Adair and conceding just five runs. Then Taskin Ahmed bowled a dream over, picking three wickets off his first four balls, practically ending the vigil. Harry Tector simmered for a bit, but the experience of Shakib and Rahim proved to be too much. In the end a comfortable win for Bangladesh, it could have in fact been an embarrassing defeat for the Irish had it not been for the rain that ate away big chunks of play today. Stick on for the presentations.
