That's all we've got for you today then as Bangladesh sealed the series with another dominant display. Ireland have just one opportunity left to salvage a win from this limited-overs leg. They'll be completely deflated after tonight's performance. That's all we've got for you today, do make sure you join us for the 3rd and final T20I. Take care and goodbye.

Shakib Al Hasan | Bangladesh captain and Player of the Match: Feels good to be on top as a Bangladeshi. We wanted to put up the same performance we did in the past few games and we did it well. If we want to be a great side, we have to go out there and express ourselves from ball one. That’s what we discussed and agreed that’s how we’re going to play. When I batted, it spun when Tector bowled slowly. So I thought that there was something for the spinners and decided to start with spin. If you’re a good team, when you go to Australia or England, they always try to win 3-0 if they’re up 2-0, we’ll try the same. No chance of us being complacent. We might try a few new players but they’ll be just as hungry to do well.

Paul Stirling | Ireland captain: That was a tricky day. Few of the same errors of the previous couple of weeks. We have a lot to work on, we’ll take it easy tomorrow and have a think about it tomorrow and try and come back stronger in the next game. You have to take every game as it comes, it wouldn’t have made a big difference if we went out there trying to put on a show. We have to think about team selection, we’ll have an unused pitch on Friday and hopefully we’ll be one step ahead. I think they’re a very strong team, we probably didn’t think it was going to be this one-sided. There’s no dead-rubber as far as we’re concerned and we want to turn on Friday and show we’re serious.

18:30 Local Time, 13:30 GMT, 18:00 IST: Another game and another day where Ireland have simply been blown away by Bangladesh. We had a delayed start to the game and it was reduced to a 17-over contest but that made no difference in Ireland's fortunes. It all started with the bat as Litton Das and Rony Talukdar unleashed absolute carnage at the top of the order. Das carried on to score a brisk fifty and backed up by cameos from Shakib and Towhid Hridoy, Bangladesh posted a mammoth 202 from just 17 overs. Ireland never got going with the bat either, they lost 3 wickets inside the powerplay and that just sucked all the momentum out. There was no doubt about it being Bangladesh's game thereafter. Campher showed some resistance with a 30-ball 50 and apart from Tector's brisk 22, Ireland didn't have much to write home about. Shakib starred with the ball as well as he claimed figures of 5-22 from his 4 overs to become the leading wicket-taker in all T20I cricket. Ireland have miles to go before the next game on Friday if they are to challenge the hosts.
