The trophy is presented to Shakib and the entire Bangladesh team pose for the cameras with beaming smiles. That ends our coverage of this game. Hope you enjoyed it. There's plenty of cricket action on this platform, so do catch up on all of those. For now it's time to escape and cool down on a hot summer's day. Bye.

Shakib Al Hasan | Bangladesh captain: Normally we don't play on this sort of wicket. Credit to Ireland they tried their best. Taijul bowled really well and in the 2nd innings all the fast bowlers chipped in. There are a lot of areas we can improve, this was a match where we could experiment with a few things, some worked out, some didn't. We were positive enough and the wicket suited us the way we wanted to bat, that's one area we are looking to change our approach. I won't say this is the ideal Test wicket but would say it was a good batting wicket.

Mushfiqur Rahim | Player of the Match: Enjoyed a lot, because the team wins and that's the most important part. It was a flat deck and there was not enough for the bowlers, credit to them and also credit to Ireland for they batted really well in the 2nd innings. You need to start really well and the intensity and intent is very important. Litton and Tamim batted very well and that was a very crucial partnership for us, had they got 2-3 quick wickets early on, we could have been under pressure. We need to play really well in longer format - taking 20 wickets in that flat deck, hats off to them.

Andy Balbirnie | Ireland captain: We showed a lot of grit particularly yesterday evening. We all enjoyed playing Test cricket, we showed a lot of resilience and a lot of fight and unfortunately we were on the wrong side today. That's a learning curve for us. When we win the toss and bat first here, we have to score runs and occupy the crease for as long as we can. If we had got a couple of early wickets in the chase today, it could have been a different case but credit to Bangladesh they were better over the four days. Lots of good performances, McBrine, Tucker with a 100 and Tector with fifties in both innings. We can be very proud of our efforts, as lots of guys haven't even played first-class cricket which does not happen often these days. We look forward to the upcoming Tests in Sri Lanka. We really enjoyed playing out there and would like to thank the BCB and all the others, we were well looked after and we enjoyed it.

A token of appreciation for both umpires from BCB.

Ireland will be disappointed for making just 214 in the first innings on a good batting wicket on day 1 after opting to bat first. That's where the game was lost effectively. Ireland though reduced Bangladesh to 40/3 and the game was in the balance then, but Rahim and Shakib added 159 for the fourth wicket and the runs came at a fair clip too. Rahim continued to make his 10th ton and contributions from Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz ensured a healthy lead of 155. When Ireland were 4-down for nothing in their 2nd innings, it looked like an early finish on day 3 but Ireland showed lots of heart and resilience to counter Bangladesh's spinners. A good learning curve for Ireland who are just 4 Tests old and the performances of Tector, Tucker and McBrine along with Mark Adair will certainly give them lots of encouragement ahead of their upcoming two Test series against Sri Lanka. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...

13:29 Local Time, 07:29 GMT, 12:59 IST: Bangladesh win the one-off Test by 7 wickets. Also the final Test for Aleem Dar as an ICC Elite Panel Umpire after 145 Tests. Lovely gesture as both teams give Dar a guard of honour. Lots of claps and cheers. An emotional moment for one of the best umpires of all-time. Dar walks off shaking Shakib and Balbirnie's hands and waving to the crowd. Coming to the game, creditable fight shown by Ireland to take the game into day 4 after they were tottering at 13/4 late on day 2. A 100 from Tucker and other contributions from Tector and McBrine frustrated Bangladesh on day 3 as Ireland took a lead of 137. Chasing 138, Bangladesh sent Litton Das to open to counter McBrine's offbreaks and the wicketkeeper-bat played aggressively and turned the pressure back on Ireland. When Das and Shanto got out, Mushfiqur stood tall to notch up a fifty and guided his side home.

27.1

Andy McBrine to Mushfiqur, 1 run, Mushfiqur punches the air in delight as Bangladesh win by 7 wickets. The offbreak turns back in, Mushfiqur makes room and dabs to the left of backward point, Mominul is quick and beats the throw to make it

26.5

Benjamin White to Mominul, no run, good length and on the stumps, nudged wide of backward square leg and Mushfiqur does not want the quick single

26.4

Benjamin White to Mominul, no run, quicker on the stumps, flat, defended off the back foot

26.3

Benjamin White to Mominul, no run, one of the bad reviews that you will see from time to time. Tossed up legbreak outside off, spins in sharply and Mominul on the back foot is hit on the pad, it is ump's call on hitting and miles down leg. Ireland just having fun out there

Comical this from Ireland. They are reviewing for an LBW when the ball has pitched maybe outside the leg-stump and it's going miles down leg too. They want to use it when they have it. And... they waste it

Benjamin White to Mominul, SIX, Mominul brings out the slogsweep, tossed up outside off, Mominul saw that and smashed it well over deep mid-wicket
