The Dutch brigade has registered 20 vital points as far as the World Cup Super League table is concerned. Ireland had their moments but in the end, they would be a little miffed as they played loose cricket during the crucial points. Ireland would want to tighten up the loose ends and so would Netherlands as they have tougher tasks ahead. That is it from this series and we had immense pleasure in bringing you the coverage of this closely contested series. Look forward to your company soon. Till then, bye bye!

Pieter Seelaar, Winning captain: Over these three games, we are happy to take 20 points. Good toss to lose. In the morning, there was something happening on the wicket but we were relentless in terms of our discipline. Tector and Dockrell batted really well but van Beek changed the game. His spell was outstanding and that's where half the game was won. All three games he (Fred Klaassen) was fantastic. He was supposed to go to Kent but he himself wanted to play. He will take this form into the Vitality Blast which is starting soon. Very proud of Steph (Myburgh), he's known for his quick starts and today he showed fantastic maturity. Got dropped but after that he was chanceless. He picked his ball and hitting the first ball six set the tone. No and yes (about the nerves of chasing 163), we finished clinically though.

Andy Balbirnie, Losing captain: It was really disappointing. They deserve to win two games of three. We needed to spend more time on this wicket. Three down for not much didn't help. It was a difficult week for us. The wicket didn't change at all throughout the 100 overs. There are no excuses from our end. We didn't play the big moments well. We have got a couple of big series coming up. We would want to find ways to win. Every point is crucial in the cycle. SA will be a huge task. Two games we lost, we lost three quick wickets. We need to work a little on our technique may be.

Logan van Beek, Player of the Series: First of all it is a bit of a shock (winning this award) as a lot of guys contributed to the series. But in a series or in a match you always want to make an impact. The way we started and got Stirling early was huge for us. I just wanted to make an impact throughout the series and today.. whether or not you sense an opportunity, you try and give your everything. Funnily enough in the first two games I was struggling with my front arm and yesterday in training I asked Tim (van der Gugten) what was happening, he said my arm was going across and to bring it up a bit. Things just fell into place today and everything clicked. Obviously it was a game changer which was nice, they were looking at 220 which would have been tough on that wicket. It is hard to start and once you take one, you can take two and if the batsmen is in it is hard to get them out. 20 points in our first series is huge and we looked forward to the remaining seven.

Stephan Myburgh, Player of the Match: The wicket hasn't played as freely as it should. You need to graft here. You need to take it to the bowlers here and that's what we did. We made them bowl to us. We had played defensive in the previous two games. But we were a little positive today. I should have finished it off. I feel bad for that. Just grateful for the opportunity. I still feel I have a couple of years left in me.

17:33 Local Time, 15:33 GMT, 21:03 IST: A one run steal, a crushing defeat and redemption again. Netherlands have seen it all in this series. They played a cliff hanger to start the series and then have see-sawed between being ordinary and extra-ordinary in the next two games. But the home team will take the result. Myburgh sowed seeds for a comfortable chase. He started off with a six off the first ball but then settled down and took it pretty deep to ensure Netherlands never looked uncomfortable. Earlier in the day, Ireland frittered away a chance to score more than 200 and that really denied them a fair shout to defend the series as a 160-plus score was never enough. Hold on for the presentation ceremony..

Simi Singh to Seelaar, out Lbw!! This is turning into a farce now. Another one goes. That was a flatter delivery, Seelaar missed the slog sweep and has been given out LBW. He just put his head down and started walking. Ireland are happy. Seelaar lbw b Simi Singh 4(6) [4s-1]

Simi Singh to Seelaar, THATS OUT!! Lbw!!

Andy McBrine to Bas de Leede, out Caught by Young!! Another one bites the dust. Bas de Leede danced out, tried the glory shot but managed only the hands of the fielder at mid-on. The entire Dutch camp is gutted. Two still needed. Bas de Leede c Young b Andy McBrine 18(66) [4s-2]
