So, Ireland keep their lead of 1-0 intact and they can't lose this T20 series now. Join us tomorrow to find out whether West Indies can level this series. Until then, goodbye and take care.

22:00 Local Time, 02:00 GMT, 07:30 IST: Players are shaking hands and this match has been called off due to rain. It proved to be a three way contest (West Indies v Ireland v Rain). And in the end, rain emerged victorious. Earlier in the evening, West Indies won the toss and asked Ireland to bat. Ireland's start was totally contrary to the last game as they lost their openers rather quickly however they did manage to post 147 on the board, courtesy a 22-ball 44 from Gareth Delaney. West Indies began the chase swiftly but they lost Simmons in the first over and that slowed down the proceedings a bit. And when the rain came back for the third and final time they were 16/1 at the end of 2.1 overs. It is still raining as I write and umpires after waiting for a long time were left with no choice and they decided to call this match off.

21:46 Local Time, 01:46 GMT, 07:16 IST: We are hearing that it is raining heavily in St. Kitts now and even the bowler's run-up has been covered.

21:09 Local Time, 01:09 GMT, 06:39 IST: Players are running off the field as rain has made another appearence. It's been a frustrating evening so far for both the teams but one can't control the weather. It is belting down at the moment and covers are firmly in place. The breeze is pretty strong and we are hoping that it will take away the rain quickly.

Stirling to Simmons, out Caught by Harry Tector!! He has mistimed the slog and he will be caught. The decision to give Stirling the new ball has worked brilliantly. Simmons wanted to power it over deep mid-wicket, fails to get the desired distance and Tector snaffles it at deep mid-wicket. Simmons c Harry Tector b Stirling 10(5) [4s-1 6s-1]
