That's all from us here. Join us for the match between Ireland and New Zealand from The Village, on May 21st. Bye Bye!

Mustafizur Rahman is the Man of the Match for his four wicket haul

Mashrafe Mortaza: We got early wickets and that was important. Our openers batted really well. They didn't give up. Soumya Sarkar played really well and so did Tamim. Mustafizur was good, not only today but for the last two and a half years. I hope he continues his good work.

William Porterfield: We didn't have enough runs on the board. Joyce too couldn't convert his start. With a young attack, playing more games, it'll be better for them. It's more the manner in which we got out that hurt us. We made it difficult for the middle and the lower order batsmen. We need to do a lot better with the bat against New Zealand.

Bangladesh could do nothing wrong today. Right from the toss. Having put the hosts into bat, they reduced them to 181 on a wicket that looked good to bat on with sun beating down. The visitors came onto bat with a positive intent. Started slowly as both openers saw off the new ball and then came the big hits from Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar. The former fell three runs short of his fifty, but the latter went on to finish the game unbeaten on 87. He was well supported by Sabbir Rahman who scored 35 and threw his wicket away. Bangladesh have had a great day in all departments and are now 2 points behind New Zealand on the points table.
