Latham is presented with the trophy and the whole New Zealand team joins him in celebration. It wasn't their best day today as Latham said, but some of the inexperienced players will take a lot from this series. For Bangladesh, it really is a major achievement to finally beat New Zealand away from home. It's a reflection of the strides they've been making of late, and they'll be raring to go in the Champions Trophy. That's it from this tri-nation competition. It's a goodbye from Sagar Chawla, Kumar Abhisekh Das, and Abhinand.

Tom Latham is Man of the Series

Mushfiqur Rahim, Man of the Match: The bowlers came back really well in the back end. At one point it looked like they would get 300-plus. Very good preparation going into the Champions Trophy. Hopefully we'll come out strong in the Champions Trophy.

Mortaza: We didn't start well with the ball, but we pulled things back in the middle period to set things up for the batters. We dropped a lot of catches today, something we can't do on the big stage. It means a lot (climbing above Sri Lanka in the rankings), we are gradually coming up. Still a long way to go.

Latham: 270 was a good score. Credit to Bangladesh, they managed to build partnerships. It's a different group we've got here. Today wasn't our best day. For us, it was about new guys stepping up and play roles which they haven't done.

18:35 Local Time, 17:35 GMT, 23:05 IST: This is Bangladesh's first win over New Zealand away from home, in their 17th attempt. A few of their supporters have invaded the field in celebration. They've been making a lot of noise all day and have been treated with a fine performance from their beloved team. Bangladesh were carrying momentum going into the break. They had stifled New Zealand to 270 from a position of 167/2 in 30 overs. The chase couldn't have gotten off on a better note with Tamim Iqbal smashing the first ball for six. He had a big partnership with Sabbir Rahman for the second wicket, and it put Bangladesh right in charge. New Zealand kept fighting back though, never allowing the opposition to run away with the game through the middle period. However, the pair of Rahim and Mahmudullah showed composure and killed the game off comfortably in the end. This series was already decided in New Zealand's favour before we came in today. However, you can't help but wonder, especially after today's result, that things could have been so different if one of those Bangladesh v Ireland games weren't washed out.

Bennett to Mahmudullah, FOUR, follows it up with a fullish ball and Mahmudullah is upto the challenge. Plants the front foot down and muscles it over mid-on. Didn't get all of it, but all he had to do was clear the fielder inside the ring. Does that comfortably
