That's all we have for you for today. Until we see you on Sunday for a dead rubber, and in the hope that the cricket is a little more free-flowing, ta ta!!

Mitchell Starc | MoM: A very, very good win for us. We knew that if we hung in there, we could get to a good total. We were as clinical as we could be with the ball. We are a calm group. This pitch wasn't easy to bat on, it was quite slow. We were very disciplined. Sean bowled four maidens on the trot which was brilliant, Zampa got a fifer, and even Josh was great.

Kane Williamson: Obviously not our best day with the bat. A number of soft dismissals. Australia were brilliant with the ball and gave nothing away. Fair play to Australia, we didn't apply ourselves. Everybody makes their own decisions but we have to be better at adapting to these conditions. You have to graft and build partnerships. We couldn't do it like Australia did. We need to be a lot better than that. We will have a new surface in the next game.

Aaron Finch: It has been hard. The first 40 overs of our batting was incredibly difficult before the tail showed us how it needed to be done. Excellent innings from Steve Smith. We knew we had a target to defend, and we had to be disciplined with the ball. Starc struck early and Sean Abbott was superb. The wicket started to slow up and became lower. As the pressure built, the asking rate got to five an over. Zampa got wickets, but it was set up by the seamers. We knew the pitch would deterioare and become slower. Although we have been five down early, we got to a good total in both the games. We feel that we can be aggressive and attacking. It is how we want to play our cricket going forward.

21:03 Local Time, 11:03 GMT, 16:33 IST: As it turns out, Australia's undercooked 195 turns out to be 113 runs too many. This pitch wasn't the easiest, but New Zealand's approach was a little too timid. Conway, Williamson, Mitchell and Bracewell chewed up balls, but just didn't show intent to keep the runs coming. The seamers, Starc and Abbott struck early, before Zampa came in, spun it around, and blew the lower middle-order away. So Australia retain the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy, although they themselves broke out of jail in the first innings. They were relentless with the ball and on the field though, just refusing to let the pressure off. Hang around for the presentations ..

Zampa to Boult, out Lbw!! A full-blooded sweep, a miss, and Boult is trapped right in front of middle. Adam Zampa -- a maiden ODI fifer! He'll have to wait a bit to celebrate though, Australia will have to wait a bit to celebrate, for Boult has reviewed this. And it stays on umpire's call, with the ball-tracking showing it to be clipping leg-stump. Boult lbw b Zampa 9(12) [4s-1]

Zampa to Boult, no run, moves well across his crease to sweep, misses, and Zampa is very keen on the LBW appeal. But no, the ball's spinning past off-stump
