The Aussies now travel to India later in the week, while New Zealand have a few days off to reflect on this series, before they host Pakistan and Bangladesh in a T20I tri-series. We'll bring all that cricket to you then, but for now it's time to bid farewell from me, Saurabh, on behalf of Mukesh. Take care, stay safe!

The Australian team pose for photos as they retain the Chappell-Hadlee trophy. Aaron Finch has a photograph taken with his full family and the trophy, and then walks off into the dressing room amidst loud applause. A perfect end to a long career, he'll be missed but he leaves this Australian ODI side in very good condition.

Aaron Finch: The partnership between Steve and Marnus was brilliant, to get to 260 after one of the slowest starts was just amazing. Our bowling has been good, everyone has contributed. Pretty good, glad I don't want to field 50 overs anymore. My family has sacrificed so much for me to achieve all that I have, always grateful for that. We go to Sydney tomorrow for a photoshoot and then to India on Thursday, so it is a quick turnaround. There's just so many people to thank, everyone who's been there for me since club cricket. I'm super thankful for my wife and kids to stick with me through all my ups and downs. Will always be grateful to them.

Kane Williamson: Slightly improved performance but Australia showed their quality once again. They've been able to reverse the pressure every time, we've had glimpses and moments throughout. We need to learn to adjust to conditions quicker and try to put the teams under pressure when we can. Just want to mention Finchy and congratulate him for a terrific ODI career.

Steve Smith | Player of the Match and Player of the Series: You always want to contribute to the team and help them to success. It was always difficult in the start, their new bowlers have been exceptional. So we knew we had to get through that. I love batting at number three, I think it's the best for me but whatever is needed for the team. (On Finch) He's been huge for the team for 10 years, he's done a terrific job and we're all sad to see him leave.

22:28 Local Time, 12:28 GMT, 17:58 IST: All done. A winning end to Aaron Finch's ODI career. A 3-0 whitewash for Australia in a series they were head and shoulders the better team. 268 was always going to be a stiff target on this surface, but today New Zealand got a start from their openers. Finn Allen got 35, before he was dismissed by Green, with his partner Conway falling a few overs ago. Williamson, Latham and Mitchell then slowed things down considerably for the Kiwis, and unfortunately none of these batters could make their starts count. They left a lot desired for their lower middle-order, and although Neesham, Phillips and Santner struck a few lusty blows to make the Aussies sweat, they were always behind the curb. Also, the knack of picking up timely wickets ensured the chase was never truly on. In the end, NZ fell short by 25 runs. Stick around for the presentations.
