Mahmudullah goes to the stage to get the winner's trophy and is joined by his teammates as they pose for the photographs. These might not be the ideal wickets with regards to the preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup, but Bangladesh will definitely go into the qualifiers with a winning mentality. Not every day you'd win three series in a row - two of them coming against Australia and New Zealand, although against severely depleted squads. But that's none of Bangladesh's problem. Right, they're done with enough warm-up for the World Cup. The tournament proper starts for them on October 17th, when they face Scotland. But it's a long way away and there's plenty of cricket before that. Do stay tuned as we bring you each and every match. For now, cheers and bye..

Mahmudullah | Bangladesh captain - Disappointed at losing, but they played well, got a good score which we couldn't chase down, but happy to have won the series. The bowlers did well, we didn't finish well, but they bowled their hearts out. Shoriful got early wickets, we didn't start well with the bat, me and Afif Hossain got a partnership, but they (New Zealand) bowled well in the end. We have played good cricket to win three series in a row, it's a good feeling. Hopefully, we'll go well in the World Cup and win a few games.

Tom Latham and Nasum Ahmed share the Player of the Series award

Tom Latham | Player of the Match - It's great to finish the tour on a high, we were able to place all the pieces together after coming close in the first four games of the series. It was a good surface, the openers set the platform, they played with freedom and allowed the middle-order to take their time and finish well in the back-end. The bowlers have been fantastic all series and again they showed their learning from the previous games, hopefully, we'll take some positives going into the Pakistan tour - which is another opportunity for the guys. Nice to spend some time in the middle, haven't played a lot of T20 cricket, pleasing to have scored in conditions which are different back home.

19:24 Local Time, 13:24 GMT, 18:54 IST: A comprehensive victory for New Zealand in what was the best batting strip of the series, but Bangladesh will take the series 3-2. Should the hosts be worried about their tame loss in good batting conditions? Yes, they were resting a few stars, especially Shakib and Mustafizur, but this was still a World Cup bound squad and their lacklustre chase could be a cause of concern. New Zealand completely outplayed them, except for a period of four overs between 12th and 15th, in which Afif Hossain and Mahmudullah took 50 runs. A poor start and a poor finish as the hosts never came close to chasing down 162. Afif remained unbeaten on a 33-ball 49, which was their only silver lining. Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur continued to struggle and the rest just couldn't get going. Wickets shared between everyone with Kuggeleijn and Ajaz taking two each. Stay tuned for the presentations..
