That's curtains on this hard-fought series. UAE tried some exciting talent and gave them some important game time. With more cricket, this team will only get better. Meanwhile, New Zealand head to England now for some white-ball games. There's plenty of cricket action across the globe. We'll cross paths again. Goodnight!
Tim Southee collects the big cup and his takes it to his team waiting in front of the champions board.
Tim Southee | NZ captain: Today was the best performance of this series, great to finish the series this way. Great to have the debutants today, they have done well with domestic performances. Knew it was going to be hot and sweaty here.
Mark Chapman | PoTS: It was nice for the boys to rebound and put a complete performance. Happy to win the series. They way Will played and put the pressure on the bowlers made our job easy. It's always tough, games against Test nations come so infrequently. In this format the Associate nations compete very well and I wish them all the best.
Will Young | PoTM: Interesting to sit the two games out. UAE are a fantastic side. I just had my game plan to go out there and do it. It looked a similar wicket to the first game. Bit two-paced early on but played out well later.
Muhammad Waseem | UAE captain: We were looking for a good start, unfortunately we didn't get that and we struggled in the middle overs too. Wicket was very good, 160 was chasable. Not getting the start was the key. I was going for the attack, personally I wanted to attack and wanted to get 50-55 runs in the powerplay. That's where I went wrong probably. Thankful to our supporters. I am pleased with the performance of our team.
21:24 Local Time, 17:24 GMT, 22:54 IST: This is a convincing win for New Zealand. The only game of the series where UAE were outplayed for a good part of the series. But what a show the hosts put on. In home conditions, they knew how to operate. Winning all three tosses did help, but New Zealand had to really work for their wins. 166 was an above par total for this pitch that's not really easy for strokeplay. Southee began with a maiden over, but Lister got the dangerman Waseem in his first over. Aravind, Aryansh promised for a while but Santner and Ashok were impressive with their spin bowling. Aayan Khan was the only batter who managed to middle most balls, but he didn't get enough help from Hameed or any other batter. Lister bowled well for three wickets. Stay tuned for the presentations...
