So West Indies just avoided being bowled out for their lowest T20I total against NZ (99), but they have lost another series with a game to go. It really was a mismatch today. With batting potential till No. 9 West Indies would have wanted to put up a better fight, just like what Obed McCoy and Hayden Walsh showed at the end. Teams return on Sunday for the final game of this series. Same time, same ground. See you all again!
Kane Williamson | New Zealand captain: It was a fantastic performance by the team. Outstanding contributions with the bat and backed up well with the ball and the field.. The guys stuck together, a good all-round performance. We want to give guys clear roles. Keep it nice and simple and ensure they belong. We will see the pitch and then decide on the combination we want to play in the next game.
Nic Pooran | West Indies captain: Just didn't show up today. Two wickets in the second over and then me in the third over, just couldn't recover after that. We just have two spinners in our squad and it is difficult to play both of them at the same time in the nets. Ideally we would like to play both. We felt we just had to stay in the game but we didn't start well. We need to accept and stay in the fight. We have a lot of learning to do as a young group. We are playing cricket games every two days, but I am happy that the guys are actually fighting it out. Some of them are injured but I am happy the guys want to fight on the field.
Glenn Phillips | PoTM|: I have great memories here. Love playing for my country and this gives me a great feeling. Credit to the West Indies bowlers early on for bowling well but it was better to bat towards the end. Our bowling improved from the last game. Lot of credit has to go him (Ramnaresh Sarwan - Jamaica Tallawahs assistant coach) for the way I play in this part of the world.
16:52 Local Time, 21:52 GMT, 03:22 IST: A crushing 90-run loss for West Indies. Apart from the obvious, West Indies crumbled against spin, this is a bizarre game to explain. With evidence from both innings, this surely is not a 215-run pitch. New Zealand got at least 25-30 runs extra. West Indies lost seven wickets to spin, but interestingly, the finger spinners had a great day compared to the wristies. Hayden Walsh was smashed for 55 in his 4 overs, while Sodhi too began poorly until he dragged it back with the wicket of Powell. Had he got the wide against him in the last over, his figures would have looked worse.

Southee to Obed McCoy, 1 run, swings early and slaps it to long-off
Southee to Hayden Walsh, 1 run, short of length delivery, Walsh drags this to square leg
Southee to Obed McCoy, 1 run, slower delivery, McCoy mistimes high in the air. Neesham ran back to the left from extra-cover and tried to catch
Southee to Obed McCoy, 2 runs, short delivery, pulled to deep mid-wicket. Oh looks like he lost sight of the ball for a wee bit, then stretched to his right to get a hand on it
Southee to Obed McCoy, no run, slower delivery, McCoy swings and misses
