That's all we have from this game. Join us for the coverage of the series-decider on Sunday (21st August). For now, it's a goodbye from our side. Take care!

Tom Latham: It was a fantastic performance, Finn played a fantastic knock. When you have 212 on the board, the belief's there in the side. With two world-class bowlers taking six wickets, that was nice. Full credit to them for the way they came at us after the rain break. He (Allen) is a powerful player, and a devastating player. Full credit to the way he played. It was a great partnership between Mitchell and Allen. We lost our way after the rain break. We need to work on that, we need to talk about the things we need to improve.

Nicholas Pooran: Very pleasing, we spoke about being consistent. The bowlers did the job for us. It's been nice coming out here. Kevin with that performance, it makes a lot easier. We were in deep trouble when we lost six wickets in the powerplay. Alzarri and Cariah had a great partnership. We'll have to work hard, NZ are not going to give it away easily. He (Cariah) has been working hard in first-class cricket, he grabbed the opportunity wonderfully, it was a mature innings, really happy for him.

Finn Allen | Player of the Match: It was nice to take the team to a competitive total. Would have been great to get those four runs. He (Mitchell) had a calming influence on me. It's nice to take this confidence moving forward. I have always known I got the grit in me but had never done it, knowing now I can do that, it's good. They (West Indian pacers) bowled well at the top, made it tough for us. It was a nice challenge, I enjoyed it.

In reply, Boult and Southee came out all guns blazing and both the pacers claimed three wickets apiece as the West Indies were reduced to 27/6 within 10 overs. Carty and Cariah tried to hang in there and fight, but Guptill's brilliant effort in the field resulted in the former's downfall before the second rain break. Alzarri Joseph and Cariah had a lengthy partnership once the game resumed, but with the required run rate on the higher side, it was always going to be a mountain to climb. New Zealand will be pretty pleased with their effort, and the series-decider should prove to be an interesting contest. Stay around for the presentations..

23:03 Local Time, 03:03 GMT, 08:33 IST: An impressive bowling performance by Southee and Boult has helped New Zealand level the series 1-1 with a match remaining. On a difficult batting wicket, NZ lost a few quick wickets earlier in the day, but the partnership between Allen and Mitchell helped them recover from a precarious situation. And once that partnership was broken, the pivotal contributions by Santner and Boult - that helped the visitors reach a respectable total of 200-plus. Allen deserved a century, but unfortunately missed out by four runs.

Santner to Cariah, out Caught by Finn Allen!! A fine catch by Allen at deep extra cover and that's game, set, match! This was lofted uppishly by Cariah, but Allen near the boundary takes the catch, parries the ball just when he's about to overhaul the fence, and comes back in to complete the catch on the second attempt. Clean catch by the fielder and NZ win by 50 runs (DLS method). The players are out on the field for the customary handshakes. Cariah c Finn Allen b Santner 52(84) [4s-2 6s-1]

Southee to Alzarri Joseph, out Bowled!! Southee breaks the partnership, claims his fourth wicket! This length ball around middle and off, shapes back in and keeps a touch low to beat Alzarri Joseph's defence. The stumps have been rattled and Alzarri Joseph walks back after playing a belligerent knock. Alzarri Joseph b Southee 49(31) [4s-5 6s-2]

Southee to Alzarri Joseph, FOUR, great shot! He's playing shots like a top order batter. On a length around off, Alzarri Joseph stands all and lofts this beautifully over the bowler's head. The fielder from long-on sprints across and gets his hands to it, but fails to stop the ball
