Bangladesh were always going to struggle against Pakistan and the absence of Shakib didn't help them one bit either. But Babar's men have points on the board and they'll next face New Zealand in a D/N match tomorrow. Do join us for all the action. For now, cheers and bye..

Nurul Hasan | Losing captain - Disappointed, the wicket was good, but I think we need to improve in a few areas. The bowlers did well, but we can tweak in a few areas, but then we lost too many wickets in the middle. Litton and Afif batted well, so did Yasir, they're some positives. Taskin bowled well and took a few wickets for us,

Babar Azam | Winning captain - I am very happy, winning gives us a lot of confidence, we started and finished well. We were happy as a batting group, our plan was to get around 50 runs in the batting PP. Shan (Masood) and Rizwan batted well, he stayed till the end and took us to a good score. The wind was a factor and the bowlers used it to good effect. Every match is a big game, we will look forward to the opportunity of playing against good teams.

Mohammed Rizwan | Player of the Match - Always nice to do with the bat for Pakistan. We just kept things simple (himself and Babar), it was a good batting track to be honest, the ball came on nicely and we did really well with both bat and ball. I always use spikes, but it was a bit slippery today. We play well with each other (himself and Babar), I always believe in hard work to get results. They were big boundaries on one side, but we played each ball on merit. One boundary was long, so we did have a lot of running as well.

18:43 Local Time, 05:43 GMT, 11:13 IST: A convincing win for Pakistan, notwithstanding the final over from Rauf, they were always in control while defending 167 and didn't give too much away. The new-ball bowlers struck twice in the batting powerplay to send back both openers - Afif and Litton fought hard as they added 50 runs for the third wicket. But then a familiar Bangladesh collapse occurred. They slipped from 87 for 2 to 101 for 6 and the chase was all but over. Yasir Ali spent some time mastering his batting skills, played some sublime strokes and ensured that the margin of defeat was 21 runs. Everyone chipped in with the ball with Mohammed Wasim jnr finishing with 3 wickets. Stay tuned for the presentations..

Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, FOUR, clubbed, on a good length and just outside off, Yasir throws his bat out and drills it through extra-cover - a flurry of boundaries to finish the game

19.5

6

Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, SIX, a big effort from Dahani at long-off to pull back, but was he already outside the ropes as he did so? Took a good overhead catch while leaping as high as he could, but he was standing on the ropes as he jumped up and so according to the rules, it's a maximum - he did well to jump, catch the ball and then palm it back into play as he went over

19.4

4

Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, FOUR, hammered, on a good length and wide of off, Yasir leans forward and then places the drive wide of Babar at extra-cover, runs away to the ropes

19.3

Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, no run, change of pace from Rauf - slower ball outside off, no pace to work with and Yasir is way too early on the swing

19.2

Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, 2 runs, slower ball on the pads, worked behind square on the on-side and Yasir came rushing back for the second

19.1

4

Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, FOUR, Yasir is playing some fine shots - backs away to a full ball ad then drills it back past his partner, runs away straight and beats long-on to his left

Haris Rauf [3.0-0-18-1] is back into the attack

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Yasir Ali, 1 run, full-toss on off, worked down to long-on for a single and he'll keep strike with that single

18.5

4

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Yasir Ali, FOUR, creamed, a wide half-volley from Mohammad Wasim Jr, Hasan gets forward and then thumps it through extra-cover, runs away at the rate of knots

18.4

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Hasan Mahmud, 1 run, on a good length and just outside off, pushed into the gap wide of backward point for a single

18.3

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Hasan Mahmud, no run, that looked stonedead, but the umpire shakes his head, nipped back in late and caught Hasan half-forward, crashed into the pads, in front of middle and leg - I reckon this was hitting, butv Pakistan don't have a review

18.3

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Hasan Mahmud, wide, Mohammad Wasim Jr loses his line and spills one well down leg, called as a wide

Hasan Mahmud, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Nasum Ahmed, out Bowled!! Another perfect yorker and Mohammad Wasim Jr is on a hat-trick - very full and on middle, Nasum backed away and heard the death rattle as he missed, right at the base of middle and there was very little he could do about it. Mohammad Wasim Jr to Nasum Ahmed, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!
