On expected lines, Pakistan wrap up the series with a game remaining. However, it wasn't all smooth riding, particularly in the first game and if only Bangladesh's batters had put up a better show, the scoreline may have been different. The hosts' bowling was quite impressive against a potent batting line-up but the batters continue to fail. They'll need to correct it as early as possible if they want to improve in this format. As for Pakistan, they'll be pleased at being stretched as such wins are even more sweeter. Skipper Babar scoring runs is perhaps the only box that hasn't been ticked, but that is always around the corner, isn't it? Hope you enjoyed our coverage of the game. Until next time, this is Hari Sadanandan signing off on behalf of Pradeep Krishnamurthy, Sagar Chawla and Mukesh. Cheers!

Babar Azam: The series win is a team effort. The boys responded well as a unit and we carried forward the momentum (from the WC). Bowlers did really well, especially in the last 10 overs and it always helps when you get wickets in bunches. The plans were executed properly. Don't think so (that there is an overconfidence in low chases). In low-scoring games, there is that tendency but it's important to remove complacency. Fakhar and Rizwan batted really well, and did the job. (On his two poor scores) Yeah, sometimes things don't go according to plan. Happens in cricket.

Fakhar Zaman, Player of the Match: The way wicket was playing, it was not easy early on to play my shots and with time, we were trying to build a partnership, and we succeeded. Thankfully, we finished it. To be honest, it was better than yesterday's surface but still not the ideal track for us. Whenever you play outside your country, it's very important to win games. We will keep trying hard in the next game too.

Mahmudullah: I think we started off quite well today. Afif and Shanto batted really well in the middle. Me and Shanto were trying to get a partnership but we couldn't capitalise on the end overs. For a team like us, we need a set batter to be there at the end but it didn't happen today. Boys are putting a lot of effort in the catching during the practices but unfortunately, we're missing out on chances. The bowling unit has been outstanding over the last six months, whether it is pace or spin bowling. It's the batting unit that has to come up with the goods.

17:31 Local Time, 11:31 GMT, 17:01 IST: Another game where Bangladesh will wonder 'if only we had another 20-30 runs'. Their batters let them down once more and with a much smaller total than yesterday, Pakistan weren't really under any pressure of the scoring rate. They lost Babar cheaply but a not-so-fluent Rizwan and Fakhar took their own sweet time to forge a steady stand. Both batters were dropped, and made full use of those lives against a Bangladesh attack that were quite disciplined on a slowing deck. The older ball wasn't easy to get away but by then, Pakistan already had the game in the bag. Fakhar's maturity for the second game running will please the visitors as they look for positives in their WC preparation. As for Bangladesh, their age-old batting concerns continue and with this young group, it is expected to be honest. They will need to be patient with the blokes.
