Nothing's going right for Pakistan as they collapse to another defeat on this tour. Their predicament is something which visiting teams have experienced quite a fair bit of late, all over the world. They'll have to win the next one to keep this series alive. It'll take some doing. That's it for now. I've been Sagar Chawla, you can find me @SagarChawla90. On behalf of Akshay Maanay and Sriram, it's a goodbye.
Southee, winning captain: Winning the toss on that wicket, and taking wickets upfront was the plan. Wasn't a typical wicket. We took early wickets which blunted them. He's been playing great cricket at the domestic competition (talking about Seth Rance). They took couple of early wickets. Was a great knock from Colin. Mature innings. He was supported by Brucey and Ross coming in. It's a good culture in the team.
Sarfraz, losing captain: We're not batting well enough up the order. New ball was swinging and bouncing, we didn't keep wickets in hand. They bowled very well with the new ball. Our bowlers bowled really well. If we had a score of 140-150, could have been a good match.
Colin Munro, MoM: Pleasing for me and the team to get home. Tricky wicket. It was about batting as long as I can. Wicket was a little bit up and down, but won't say it was a shocker. At the halfway mark we were pretty happy to restrict them to that. I've evolved over the last 12-18 months. I've found a formula. It's about getting into good positions. I hit Shoaib Malik on the head last game and got one back (the blow to his right hand).
18:59 Local Time, 05:59 GMT, 11:29 IST: An unusual pitch for a T20I match this, having plenty of pace and a little uneven bounce to make it difficult for the batsmen. So it was an excellent toss to win for New Zealand. The problem was, Pakistan didn't know their target. They went too hard at the top, rather than aiming for something which could have been defendable here. In doing so, they collapsed in a heap and were in danger of being bowled out for something rather infamous before Hasan Ali and Babar Azam saved them the blushes. Still, 105 was too light a total to defend. Amir and Raees came in steaming with the new ball, making a couple of dents up front. But New Zealand knew what they were chasing. They were able to take their time through the middle, absorbing the pressure, before finally cashing in with a few release shots. The hosts have coasted home eventually, with Taylor and Munro finishing in a flurry to go 1-0 up. Stay with us for the presentations..
Hasan Ali to Ross Taylor, wide, a wide to finish as Hasan Ali's short ball is too high. Loud boos across the stadium. They wanted Munro to get his fifty. I'm sure he won't mind too much
Hasan Ali to Ross Taylor, FOUR, full-pitched ball outside off, drilled through extra-cover. What hands from Taylor, flowing through the drive
Hasan Ali to Ross Taylor, FOUR, this one's a short ball outside off, and it's dispatched yet again over mid-wicket. Taylor's on the forward press while pulling it, but he still appears to be totally in control of it
Hasan Ali to Ross Taylor, FOUR, hoicks it away over mid-wicket. Fetched the length ball from outside off and got his bottom hand into play. Just nine needed now
Hasan Ali to Ross Taylor, no run, fullish outside off, driven to point
Hasan Ali to Munro, 1 run, played through cover-point for one
Hasan Ali [2.0-0-14-0] is back into the attack

4-0-18-1
Shadab Khan to Munro, 1 run, Umar Amin prevents the six, but fails to hold on to this chance. Very tough chance. It was swept hard, and Amin had to jump right at the edge of the deep mid-wicket boundary. Really difficult. Does well to shove it back inside the ropes at least
Shadab Khan to Munro, no run, extra bounce on this googly outside off, Munro is taken aback on the cut. Beaten
Shadab Khan to Ross Taylor, 1 run, patted away with the turn through cover
Shadab Khan to Munro, leg byes, 1 run, wants to swipe this wrong 'un away wide of long-on but the ball turns away past the edge to hit the back pad. Pitched comfortably outside leg
Shadab Khan to Munro, no run, flighted leg-break on leg, flicked to short mid-wicket
Shadab Khan to Munro, no run, googly on leg-stump, tucked to backward square
Shadab Khan [3.0-0-16-1] is back into the attack
