Pakistan needed six games to arrive on tour but they did so with a bang and will now leave with some silverware. Brilliant comeback after losing the first game of the 3-match series. The series win also takes them to the pinnacle of the T20I rankings. A good reward for them considering their recent form - W W W W W W L W W L W W W W L W W (today) - this is since the 2016 World T20. That's all from us today. This is Akshay Maanay signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Rishi Roy(@_rrroy) and scorer Siva. Goodbye!
Sarfraz: Credit goes to my boys. The way we came back from 6-0, credit to everyone. We just told the guys to play your natural game. Zaman, Shehzad and all the bowlers performed. If you have wickets in hand, our lower order can capitalize. Once again the credit goes to my boys (for achieving the No.1 ranking). Thanks for the crowd for supporting us.
Williamson, New Zealand Captain: Credit to Pakistan, they were outstanding. We weren't at our best. It was the pressure that they put us under. They batted very well and had an above-par score on the board. They were disciplined on the field and that, I think, was the difference. There are a couple of things we would look to do differently, but credit to Pakistan again, they were really good. (About Pakistan scoring 110 runs in the last 10) Its about coming to the ground and making sure you adapt to the surface because every venue throws a different challenge at you. There is the breeze factor at these grounds and you want to be at the right end too. All in all, the bowling performance was an improvement. With the bat it is always a challenge when you see the run-rate grow. Taylor and Bruce gave us momentum when the run-rate was soaring but it is a pity we didn't get closer than we did. We were rusty on the field and we need to do better in that area in the future, especially in the tri-series coming up. However, more than that, the fielding reflects our on-field attitude and we'd like to improve on that going into the future.
Mohammad Amir, Man of the Series: At the start, it was a tough tour for us. We lost the ODIs. T20s is different and we are now the No.1 side. The credit goes to the team managment. I was doing what I was practising. I did not do well in the ODIs, but bowled a lot better in T20Is.
Shadab Khan, Man of the Match: I enjoyed playing in New Zealand. I played in the Big Bash and carried that experience forward. I like bowling in T20s. Our top order scored runs in T20Is as supposed to ODIs. I am looking forward to the PSL.
22:20 Local Time, 09:20 GMT, 14:50 IST: Pakistan were simply outstanding once again. They outbatted, outbowled and even outfielded New Zealand in this game. Chasing 181 against Pakistan's bowling unit was never easy. Williamson and Guptill were tied down by some disciplined bowling. The latter kept the scoreboard ticking with a fifty but had no support from the other end as Kitchen struggled with his timing. A cow-corner-loving Ross Taylor provided New Zealand some hope with a few meaty blows, but the asking rate was a bit too much for him. Amir and Raees were brilliant at the death, while Shadab bossed the middle overs. Overall a complete team performance from Pakistan takes them to the number one spot in T20I rankings.

Faheem Ashraf to Santner, no run, Pakistan win by 18 runs. Look at Sarfraz go. He is yelling and shouting. He's ecstatic. "Looks like he wants to punch someone," quips Waqar Younis. Pakistan form a huddle and Sarfraz has a few words with them. Ashraf pings the yorker and Santner can only dig it back down the wicket
Faheem Ashraf to Santner, FOUR, slower delivery outside off, Santner throws the kitchen sink at that and the outside edge flies over short third man, races away to the fence
Faheem Ashraf to Santner, SIX, Santner playing some golf now. Back of a length slanted across off, Santner stands deep in the crease and mows the pull over cow corner fence. Nice clean strike of the ball
Faheem Ashraf to Santner, no run, slanted across on a yorker length, Santner can't jam it out
Faheem Ashraf to Santner, 2 runs, dropped! That's the first bit of sloppy work from Pakistan today. Short of length delivery angled across off, Santner whips it towards long-on. Zaman does the hard work of reaching there, but the ball pops out as he slides across
Faheem Ashraf to Santner, 2 runs, back of a length on off, Santner swats it wide of long-on and settles with a couple
Free-hit coming up
Faheem Ashraf to Tom Blundell, no ball, 1 run, high full toss above the waist and Blundell picks out the fielder at deep backward square with a heave, Raees claims the catch and then realises that the umpire has his arm up, fires in a flat throw to Sarfraz
Faheem Ashraf [3.0-0-39-1] is back into the attack

4-0-23-1
Amir to Santner, no run, high-fives between Sarfraz and Amir. Top class stuff from the pacer. The slower short of length delivery, Santner is ages early into the pull and the ball balloons over the top-edge. Amir finishes a brilliant spell, 4-0-23-1
Amir to Tom Blundell, 1 run, slower delivery outside off, Blundell chips the loft to sweeper cover
Amir to Tom Blundell, no run, Amir is toying with Blundell. The off-cutter outside off, Blundell was waiting to play the lap and the ball breaks away to leave him in no man's land. Appreciation from Sarfraz
Amir to Tom Blundell, wide, sprays it down leg, Blundell shuffles across and misses the scoop. Called a wide and Amir is not happy with the decision, Sarfraz tells him to calm down
M SHOAIB: WTF where the yorkers are gone - Refer to the last ball.
Amir to Tom Blundell, no run, wide yorker outside off, Blundell can't meet with the steer to third man
